Miami Hotels with free shuttle

Are there any reasonably priced hotels in Miami with complimentary shuttles from MIA and shuttles to POM.

Define "reasonably priced" :confused:

Most airport hotels provide a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel

Some hotels provide a FEE based shuttle to POM

Taxis are another option

There are many threads on the same topic ..use the search feature or scroll down through the messages

Its really rather rough around airport with few restaurants etc, Just go over close to port with nice hotels, restaurants and atmosphere.

La Quinta East offers both airport and port shuttles -- it is a budget motel with mixed reviews, but seems to be good enough for lots of cruisers. The hotel is isolated -- no shopping and the only dining option within walking distance is the Embassy Suites (where dinner will cost more than your cheap room! :eek:).

Comfort Suites Airport North offers free shuttles from the airport and then to the cruise port the next morning. Across the street is a gas station-mart if you need to pick-up soda, water, etc. There are 3-4 dining options nearby. The hotel is not in the most scenic area as it is on the edge of the airport. :(

Better options, IMHO, are found in the Blue Lagoon area near MIA; Hampton Inn, Sofitel, Homewood Suites and others - free airport shuttles and shopping and dining options within walking distance. Most can arrange for shuttle service to POM for $10 per person, or you can cab it for under $30 per cab. The ride to POM will take about 15 or so minutes. Have a good cruise! :)

The Sleep Inn & Suites Miami Airport offers a free airport shuttle and shuttle to the port for a small fee. The hotel rates are pretty good. They are adjacent to a 24 hour IHOP for late night arrivals.

We are staying at the Ramada Miami Airport North. Free airport and cruise port shuttle.

Will let you all know how it is. It is getting mixed reviews - but we only need a clean place to sleep.

Becuase of the time we are going all the prices were out of sight and we booked air late - so most hotels were already booked for the Miami Boat Show.

Just checked it out and will probably book it. I had already check "Choice Hotels" and using AAA or Sr. Rate, it showed unavailable. However, that was only those rates. The internet or best available rate is available and is still a good price. It's too early to book the cheapest rate which is prepaid & non-refundable.

You did not stear us wrong on Holiday Inn Express in Rocky Point.

It has to offer stuff. "Airport North" is a misnomer. It's in Hialeah, which is well north-west of the airport (far away from POM).
