Shopping in Waikiki?

Hi-

Staying 3 nights pre and 2 nights post cruise at the Sheraton Waikiki. Any good shopping within walking distance?

Tons of shopping. You are on the main Waikiki street, with stores all around you.

The whole area has shopping around the Sheraton. Ala Moana Shopping Center is a short 5-7 minute shuttle bus ride west of the Sheraton. But the Royal Hawaiian is right next to the Sheraton.

What type of shopping are you looking for? Kalakaua Ave. is just like Rodeo Drive. There are some really nice shops for "souvenirs" in the Hyatt Regency shopping mall, the Westin Moana Surfrider, and other spots. There is a Ross just off Kalakaua which may have some fun island things. We have really enjoyed the Sheraton Waikiki, especially the infinity pool, and they have many beautiful shops but I don't think I have purchased anything from them. And, don't forget the ABC stores for priced right souvenirs. When we are in Hawaii I don't shop or eat anywhere that we can go at home. JMO Cherie
