The action can be seen, and heard z9with ongoing static), on:

Also in port on a usual busy Tuesday, and in order of appearance, are Norwegian Jewel going to the Alaska Juneau (AJ) dock (0700-1330), RCI's Radiance of the Seas, assigned the Cruise Terminal (CT) dock (0700-2030), PCL's Star Princess heading for Franklin Street (FKL) dock (0800-2100) and NCL's Norwegian Pearl, taking her older sister's spot at the AJ dock as soon as the latter has vacated same (1400-2200)

Here comes the Radiance of the Seas - public areas lit up. No rain yet, no static yet. Can't believe the summer is ending as evidenced by less and less early morning light.

As well as late-night light, Florida has never even made it to 9 pm with good light on the longest day of the year. Just think if Juneau were further north - up by Arctic Circle and moving toward 6 months of darkness and twilight.

Looks like Tuesdays will be MS Oosterdam instead of MS Amsterdam next year. Just found out I have a new booking on Oosterdam for same date as our Amsterdam sailing. Word is Oosterdam bookings for the Med and TA next year have evaporated. Not sure where Amsterdam is going but speculation is it will be doing more 14nt itineraries. Waiting confirmation from my PCC.

Any idea why her anchor is down?

They are doing a lifeboat drill, maybe the anchor is for extra stabilization while lifting boats up and down from the port side in this wind.

They did mention the anchor at the end of tie-up.
