  1. I understand and respect that that is your experience. Our experience is different. We have only met nice people in the YC but outside people are often loud and rude. I guess that people outside the YC sometimes feel that the YC people act entitled when they actually ARE entitled, for example when cutting line at security. It's not rude to cut the line when you are allowed to do it. If someone has paid to skip the line they are allowed to do it without getting rude comments.
  2. We prefer new, big ships. But we "need" ship within ship so that we still can get outside space and lounge without lots of people. When in MSCs Yacht Club lots of people is only a problem at the end of the cruise, standing in line for a cab!
  3. I can't think of any portcity in the Western Mediterranean with many direct flights from the US. We prefer to sail from Barcelona.
  4. I agree with you but many Bella and Fantastica guests still think that it is mistreatment. I don't care what they say because I have paid extra to be able to cut lines!
  5. Many Bella and Fantastica guests feel mistreated when the Yacht Club guests cut the line, especially at security when boarding during the cruise!
  6. Your first cruise was on Norwegian Wind from Honolulu. We went to Fanning Island so we didn't just cruised around the Hawaiian Islands. We had four seadays but I think that NCL had cruises with Norwegian Dawn to Fanning Island with only one seaday in each direction. The same itinerary we did then on one of the newer MSC ships should be perfect for us.
  7. The older ships without Yacht Club are not at all interesting for us. We have cruised on Meraviglia, Divina and World Europa. Our next ship will be Seaside.
  8. We had lobster on World Europa last summer.
  9. Yes, the cheapest option by the glass is included. If you want a more expensive brand you pay the difference.
  10. On the cruises I have been on there has been music in the lounges for some time but the main part of the day there is no live music and then it can be boring, I think.
  11. We don't cruise to meet new people but I agree with you that conversations with people is an important part of the experience. If I didn't drink I should easily be bored if sitting in a lounge and then I should miss many opportunities to converse but if I drink Champagne I can sit there the whole day and increase my opportunities for conversations.
