Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Canada VS USA, IIHF, International Ice Hockey Federation, 82 member countries. This was the under 18 World Cup Championship.
  2. Sorry to interrupt this broadcast...BUT Canada won the Gold!!!! (Hockey not soccer) 🙂
  3. It would be real convenient if all airports had the same rules. Going one way my carry on is fine. Return trip not so much. Now I have to argue & prove it fits in that ***sizer. One airport hubby has to take the CPAP out of it's case. Next time no. After he has it half unpacked. The dog thing had our "instructor" yelling at everyone..."get into a double line, I don't care if you know the person or not!" Yes use the tray, no, there's no trays Nexus? What's Nexus. Really? You work the airport & don't know what Nexus is? Oh wait, there's the sign 🙂
  4. Also wanted to say Vancouver Won!!! Go Canucks Go.Now I'll go to bed 🙂
  5. Would love those flight prices. Just booked American Airlines for $1990 Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale return for 2.Then there is the pre & post hotel before we even talk about the cruise costs. Absolutely loved Aruba (beach by bus no problem)& Bonaire (snorkel was so awesome). Did a walk about in Curacao, found it meh. I am very interested in what you see & do as we may be going back with some friends. Had the cabana cabin and enjoyed it & the patio. Did find the pool, hot tubs & loungers crowded with the same type of cruisers as the main pool areas have, towel saving at 6AM. Also note they change the pool water a lot, so first day cold, middle of cruise cold, and last day cold.
  6. We want to take the ferry and then a cab to a beach like Anse Dufour or Grande Anse. Has anyone done this recently? A short walk to the ferry, cost in USA or Euro for ferry, cabs easily available on the other side? Any help would be appreciated

  8. Wondering if one of the 2 Main Dining rooms is more "posh" than the other? We will be celebrating some birthdays on board. Also are there any restaurants that open for lunch and only serve on sea days? I recall a noodle place & a seafood place as well as an on deck BBQ, that only occurred on sea days. Can't remember which cruise lines though! Some of our group would also like to attend the tea, but I understand there are 2 types with one having a fee. Would you know the cost for that? Thanks so much for any info 🙂
  9. First visit to Antigua and I am looking for a beach for a group of 8 active seniors. Shade, sun, sand & snorkel would be a bonus. Chairs, umbrellas & drinks. I have narrowed it down to the above. Can I get suggestions please?
  10. So very worth the money. Book as soon as you can! We loved it.
  11. The first sea day at the end of the cruise is the last evening before disembarkation. My understanding is this is never a formal night.
  12. has day 7 in St. Thomas until 4pm and day 8 in Grand Turk till 8pm with day 9 a sea day. Trying to plan a birthday to coincide with the 2nd formal night. Which day will it be?
  13. Anyone used them recently? Last reviews are quite some time ago. We need a private tour for 8 people start at 9am for 5 hours to Champagne to snorkel, Scotts Head view, some time at Soufriere, Trafalgar Falls, Papilote for lunch. They are asking for a 50% deposit.
