  1. No issue here unless you consider only receiving two emails yesterday instead of the typical three.😂 One of them was the flash sale associated with National Beverage Day. As stated above none of the discounts suited any of my needs, wants, or desires.
  2. Quick question: At what point in time during the cruise is it best to do this?
  3. I love Summit even if not booked in The Retreat. Cellar Masters is a nice, quiet bar where a strings duo might be playing. It is a nice departure from the noisy Martini Bar. Of course you will have The Retreat Lounge as a refuge. But Summit should not be nearly as lively as Silhouette. And that is a good thing. If there is an officers’ soirée in The Retreat Lounge, be sure to catch that. The couple times I visited The Retreat Sundeck it was mostly deserted. No crowds to fight there. But in December the weather wasn’t the balmiest. Luminae was not overly crowded either. I am sorry to read about your unfortunate experience with MSC Cruises. We saw a few sxxt shows starting on embarkation day in the terminal with the Gen Pop boarding (or should I saw herding or corralling?) cattle call. We were fortunate enough to skip that line among others. Fortunately I used our long-time travel agent for the booking. She speaks MSC and knows how to navigate through MSC’s cow pen. It also helped that I did my fair share of research on the front end. We experienced hardly any snafus during the seven days on board Seascape. The Yacht Club spaces and layout are very nice. We were showered with gifts and treats. However, you will experience far better food and a higher level of service in The Retreat on board Summit. Enjoy!!
  4. Sorry for the hijack, but could you please enlighten me on how one shares a link to another thread on Cruise Critic? Thank you!
  5. LIVE SIDE-BY-SIDE Celebrity Summit Retreat & Seascape Yacht Club 12/9-21/2023 ~ 1st MSC vs Farewell (?) X Suite Experience Not sure how to share the link.😐
  6. Have you ever considered MSC Yacht Club? It is more aligned with what The Haven sounds like. We could have stayed in the Yacht Club all seven days and remained content. The Retreat on board Summit is not a self-contained enclave. It does have one jacuzzi, but it can be windy up there. Luminae is wonderful. And nosh options in between meals in The Retreat Lounge are impressive. Summit has been beautifully updated. The lower passenger count is a plus. We are rebooked on Summit for next year. i would share a link to my Live, but I am not sure how.
  7. No issues on a desktop in Edge. No worthwhile savings on any of my upcoming sailings either.
  8. I hired them in Athens for a group of us from our roll call. We all could not have been happier with our guide and excursion.
  9. Good morning from Florida!😎 It looks like you are in the middle of a great flight.✈️🍱 Chocolate is always a GOOD thing. Looking forward to following along with you and the Queen.👸 Bon voyage!!!⚓️
  10. Agree. I contemplated the P1 on Deck 7 aft that was surprisingly available on a recent booking. These are the only Px staterooms I will consider. Given that I adore the aft-views as much as the next person, I almost bit the bullet. But for a whole lot less I opted for a V3 in the 607x neighborhood. On our previous inaugural Azamara sailing we stayed in the 608x neighborhood and found the location sufficient. Onward is the smallest ship we have ever sailed on and we loved it. I am normally not affected by the movement of a ship, but several nights while on board Onward in the Caribbean I encountered the pitching and rolling to the point that I felt like the ship was going to flip over. Hoping to not be as bothered on the next sailing knowing what I could experience again.
  11. Enjoy! We tried MSC Yacht Club on Seascape in December 2023. We enjoyed the YC experience as well as the Gen Pop areas of the ship. Although we did find the YC Restaurant food, service, and atmosphere subpar in comparison to Luminae. Others don't care for Luminae's culinary offerings, but we love them. So, if you can go with flow as far as meeting your expectations, I think you will like it. The YC pool deck and lounge are spacious, warm, inviting, and comfortably furnished. There was plenty of crew in the Yacht Club to take care of your every wish. We hope to give the Yacht Club another try again at some point in time. I did a live report which can be found on the Celebrity boards if you search. It is there because it was part of a side-by-side report along with our experience in The Retreat on board Celebrity Summit.
  12. Yes, you learned how to play the game. Well played, fellow cruiser. Enjoy those martinis.
  13. Creativity or ninja powers? Your art kind of reminds me of a pepperoni pizza. LOL. Either way I am really enjoying the ninja powers in action during your live. Someone on our last sailing scrawled "DUMP HIM" in the frost on the bar.
