Morning all, Bright and sunny down here and although a cool 8c at present expected to rise to 15c. Need to post some birthday card to friends I was at school with and a trip out to Penzance to get some shopping, but nothing else planned. Although one of my daughter's and I were discussing, a few weeks ago, about having a BBQ if the bank holiday weekend was nice, but will see! Hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend, whatever you have planned.

Three weeks ago disembarkation from Arvia was completed quicker than expected. At about 10 o'clock it was announced that all remaining passengers didn't need to make their way to their allocated venue and could proceed to the gangway.

Morning everyone, Partly cloudy here but expected to be sunny and reaching 14c. Had a really enjoyable evening at the theatre yesterday. Caught an earlier train than planned, therefore arriving at the theatre early. Not a problem as plenty of seats to choose in the foyer and spent the extra time with a couple of drinks before the show. Hope everyone has a good day.

Turned out to be sunny here although it's a bit breezy and doesn't feel very warm. At least we wont get wet walking to the station and then down into Truro later.

Morning to you all. After a nice day yesterday, it's back to being dull, overcast and rainy and not expected to warm up much either - expected temp 13c. I was still awake at 2am and then woke at 5am. Got a busy day today. Got to hubby to hospital in Redruth this afternoon. Then going to the theatre in Truro this evening. Enjoy your day.

No rain here at present, we have got some sun🙂, although we still have rain in the forecast later on this morning. Meeting up with a couple of friends this morning for a cuppa, or two and a chat, but nothing else planned.

My mother's letter was more about the terms and conditions. If I had had access to the internet in the terminal I would have been able to show/prove to them that the required paperwork had been sent, and the corresponding correspondence. Since then everything is done online before sailing on 'My P&O'. After that incidence I have printed off the filled in form and taken it with me should there be any discrepancy! Once bitten, twice shy, as they say.

I had a 12.30 boarding time for Arvia last May and I'm not in a high tier.

We had a problem when we were boarding Britannia last September. This was before the online system and I filled in and emailed off the required form. I had sent an old form and needed to submit the newer version, which I duly did and informed them at the same time of my mother's allergy. I received a reply acknowledging my mother's allergy, so I know they had received the email. Come to board in Southampton they denied all knowlegde of her request for assistance, and they were quite nasty, almost accusing us of lying, which upset my mother. She was also given a letter stating that if assistance isn't booked in advance it would be denied. On arrival in our cabin there was another letter with regard to her allergy. So somewhere along the way they had lost half of the information! I did wonder after the cruise if they had listed my name for assistance instead of my mother's. I was going to complain on her behalf, but became illl after returning. I now take a hard copy of any forms that I have email/filled in as proof.

Can I please have some of the sun you all seem to have? It's pouring with rain here and not at all nice!

I have travelled on several occasions with Mum and we each register a different credit card to our names when checking in online.
