I believe you used to be able to do it on 2 linked cards (at least we did it once like that on a similar Carnival Corporation credit for a HAL cruse), but they changed it so you could no longer do that.

None of you can touch our worst disembarkation experience. On a holiday weekend (Labor Day) there was a hurricane that kept us out of Fort Lauderdale for 2 extra days. Naturally, basically everyone now needed the first disembarkation tag to get to the airport to try to get flights. And there were too many ships coming in and too few immigration agents. The first tag was called, and the lounge filled up. And then the second tag was called and the room was so filled up that one could hardly breathe. And then they finally made an announcement, as everyone anxiously awaited to hear that disembarkation had finally started, instead we were all told it was our last chance to buy pictures from the cruise.

But does he look like his passport picture? 😉 I hope not. 🤣

Whoa. I do not think we are really disagreeing, only emphasizing different things. You are pointing out it is paid for, while I am emphasizing that there are a lot less worthwhile things that our tax dollars are being used for.

Well said, but there is one thing I would disagree with. There are ports that you definitely cannot see everything you want from one cruise visit. Rome is an example. And there are ports where there are multiple towns available, so for example, one time you explore Nice and the next time Cannes.

Can you think of a better use of the taxes we all pay?

Did you think the Coast Guard and the Air Force look to be profit making organizations. We all pay for them with our taxes and should be proud of what they do and how well they do it.
