I agree, Williamsburg Cruiser - you get what you pay for. It is still in some minds that on cruise you get the best of the best food. That does certainly not apply for massmarket ships. Anyway- certain standards should be maintained and food that bad- as the OP describes it- should not happen.
Even though I left RCCI many years ago- I thing even before they introduced those plastic plates in the Windjammer ( argh) - their ships I always found stunning- up to the Voyager Class- including Radiance Class ( along with Vision Class my favorte ships with RCCI) !
