Cowbell Kingdom Posted July 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2018 Do we need to think about costumes? I'm totally ok with it just being another day.... but we also don't want to miss out on the fun! ;p
NeptuneSeas Posted July 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2018 Do we need to think about costumes? I'm totally ok with it just being another day.... but we also don't want to miss out on the fun! ;p Was on a Princess at this time couple of years ago; theme display in Atrium, quite a lot of pax "dressed up" and had obviously brought along a costume/accessories for the evening, can't recall if there was a special party or balloon drop as I don't celebrate this, but lots of decorations put up the night before in many venues all over the ship. You can't miss them! Bon Voyage!
skynight Posted July 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2018 They should have some sort of party activity. Some passengers will dress up, as will some staff.
Alabaster Cruiser Posted July 12, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2018 Was on the Royal 2 yrs ago on Halloween. People looked like they had walked off of a movie set ! It was sooo much fun. The band in the atrium played an extra hour because everyone was having such a good time. Not to be missed! Thrak Posted July 12, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 12, 2018 We were onboard Emerald Princess last year at Halloween. Huge display of carved pumpkins in the atrium. Lots of folks in costume - both passengers and crew. Some folks brought candy to hand out. There was a kind of Halloween party going on in Club Fusion but it was packed. We didn't dress up (we never do) but it was fun and some of the costumes were quite good. We had a great time. (It didn't hurt that we had the beverage package as a perk...;p)
voljeep Posted July 12, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2018 we were on a Halloween cruise a few years ago on Princess and some passengers were staying over doing this cruise as part of a back to back cruise...Chumley Bear Cruisers... the costumes on Halloween night were amazing and hilarious..,and some were definitely R to R+ - but isn't that what Halloween is all about?? some people in the atrium had to bring at least one extra suitcase just for their costumes It was one of our favorite cruises, even though we chose not to go to one of our go to places during the day, the outrigger bar and aft adult pool...and this time, it was truly adult...;p and no, we didn't dress up either... JimnKaren Posted July 12, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2018 You don't have to dress, but it adds to the fun. You don't have to go door-to-door to trick or treat (probably would get a visit from security). Our anniversary is in late October. We have cruised several times during Halloween. Another good one is New Year's Eve. Jim
