We were on that cruise last month and did a mix of Princess excursions, tours from other vendors and DIY. In Kirkwall we used Princess and don't remember the Princess tours being any more rushed than the others. In Kirkwall we had plenty of time at the Ring of Brodgar.

Wow, that's terrible. I wonder what people are reporting in other areas. As with you, Nassau is not our favorite port.

I opted to pick up the medallion at the port and do not think I waited longer than anyone else.

We stayed at Leonardo Royal and it was a good choice for the cruise. Took a taxi in the morning to the port.

Should be a great trip. If you wanted to DIY, the train station is an inexpensive taxi ride from the port. When we went, we had lunch in Soller before getting on the tram.

As a previous poster noted, the sail out of (and into) Manhattan is great. I would stay on deck through Coney Island (just past the Verrazano Bridge)

We were on this ship summer 2022. Very nice ship and we had a good trip. Only complaint was the length of time it took to be served in the dinning room.

OK, then I feel better.

It really is a personal choice. I used something that held tags that clipped to a belt loop. DW was happy with something on her wrist. Opened the door to the room when it was in my pocjet.

We did that walk last month but were certainly ready to take an uber back. It was walkable, but tiring.

Picture taken from the tender port. We went in the afternoon. Beach was not too crowded. My understanding is that there is another beach a little further away, but we did not go there. Spent a lot on shaved ice.

56 minutes at a brisk pace. Uber is a good option. We didn't go all the way to the port but the beach to the Ala Moana Mall was $11, so figure around $15 to the port.

In Cannes, there is a beach walking distance from the port. You can walk around there. Rome and Florence are a good way from the respective ports. If that's where you want to do, planning is necessary. You probably should not count on booking an excursion just walking off the ship. In Naples, what do you want to do? For anything other than going into Naples, planning is necessary. You can DIY to the major destinations, but you can't count on booking something at the port. You can walk around Palma right off the ship.

Check out that Carnival Pride is trying to locate all passengers this evening so they can leave Cobh early due to weather.

Last year we took two children 9 and 13 to the Med on Epic. They have good memories and it worked out well.

And, the get periodically cancelled (Arizona) due to high winds.
