  1. They still have the build your own roller coaster at Epcot, agreed it’s a lot of fun. It’s in a sort of hidden corner of a technology attraction called Innoventions. In recent years more and more people have found it, so the lines have gotten just as long as the pavilions. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sum_of_All_Thrills I’ve never played laser tag, but maybe with 8 sea days on the transatlantic we’ll run out of other things to do and we’ll find out that we like it. 🙂
  2. I didn’t know there was one - maybe the answer is already there. Thx!
  3. We live in southern Florida, and are going on a transatlantic soon, Southampton to New York. We are flying from Miami to London, but I booked our flight home New York to Fort Lauderdale. As it’s getting closer I can’t figure out where to park. Looking for suggestions.
  4. Hello @mattee, we are on this cruise. We booked a mini-suite when it was originally offered. The itinerary back then was Southampton to Miami, so we were thrilled with the balcony, the last part would probably be warm enough to enjoy the balcony. Now that they changed it to Southampton to New York, we doubt we’ll have much balcony time. Cold to Cold in November. There is a facebook group, a roll call on this board, and a roll call through the facebook group. We have a lot of activities booked onboard, and a meet & green in Southampton the evening before we sail. Here’s a few links: https://www.cruiseencore.com/roll-call/
  5. http://www.williemaesnola.com/menu/ Just my opinion....
  6. I wonder why no stop? I would love to go to Halifax if the Azores are out. The Queen Mary 2 is leaving Southampton the day after us, 11/4. They arrive in New York Sun 11/10 at 6:30am. We get in the same day but too late to disembark.
  7. Hmmmm....roll calls aren’t what they used to be. I usually don’t sign up anymore myself. The new folks probably are looking for access to information, they got that, and a party plan. Win-win! The Encore roll call looks awesome, lots of activity and fun planned. I didn’t follow the Bliss roll call, but booked her for Alaska after stumbling on and then following the live posts from Doug and a couple others on the Trans Atlantic. What a beautiful ship. If I remember correctly, they booked the Encore while still sailing since they had so much fun. We’re not making a decision one way or the other until final payment is due. We’ll probably still go - I just wish it wasn’t so cold in both ports, London and New York.
  8. My sister and I cruised together on the Carnival Magic out of Port Orlando a few years back. I brought two bottles of wine, she brought one bottle of Prosecco. We had not discussed that either/both of us were bringing wine. The lovely lady at the exray stopped us, asked who it belonged to. When she saw both of us genuinely looking at each other saying “Oh, you brought wine too!” She said “go ahead, have a great cruise!” She left us take all three bottles. The start of an amazing trip. We still love the Magic, hope to go on her again, soon.
  9. Interesting! The hull art on NCL is very diverse. I wonder when they’ll announce it. I really enjoyed the Weyland channel on the Bliss. I was inspired and signed up for a painting class, it was a lot of fun.
  10. It was a lot of fun, funny and interactive with the small audience. I thought it was worth $30pp. The drinks were not full size and not strong. I only liked the Old Fashioned and the Moscow Mule, but it was nice to have a taste of some that I had never tried before.
  11. I use it to check on my work emails 2 times per day, then a quick check on the usual personal websites. I never buy the package, pay by the minute. It usually runs me $20 per 7 day cruise, $30 if I have something I have to take care of at work.
  12. I’m pulling for Romero Britto. He’s in the Miami area, so is NCL’s corporate office. His work is so cheerful and bright!
  13. I don’t think they charge you if you don’t show up. When we were onboard, they were turning people away. I made reservations for 4 using my card, they took everyone else’s card and charged them when we rode. We didn’t ask, neither did they, that’s just what happened.
