  1. I live in Spain and have cruised the Western Med from Barcelona and Rome a few times. If you are only going to do this once I would recommend Rome in Limo for an excursion to Rome. For La Spezia I love going to Pisa but perhaps a Pisa and Florence combo excursion for architecture and history or Cinco Terre for scenic views (lots of walking typically). For Naples Sorrento is beautiful, Pompeii is impressive if you have never been but Herculaneum is more intact and gives you a better impression of what life was like. For Mallorca an excursion to Soller and Valldemosa would be good or just wander about in Palma city. If you get the chance to go to Monte Carlo from Marseille, do it, perhaps taking in the changing of the guard.
  2. I get what OP is asking: when making the first change $100 was added to the new fare,on a second change $200 would be added to the new fare ($100 for the first change and another $100 for the second change) is that correct?
  3. The Spirit is beautiful. It has a fabulous lounge/bar area at the front so you can see where you are going. I would say she would be ideal for Panama canal or Alaska or Norwegian Fjords if she is doing any of these itineraries when you are looking at going
  4. Best bet would be to ring the call centre and ask them, assuming that you booked it on the UK site
  5. I can't believe you wasted your holiday tracking down the culprit. You do you, let them do them, you'll have a much better time and be far more relaxed
  6. The "waves" towel is described by Royal Caribbean as large and plush, my question is is it actually plush or just a standard thin beach towel? In other words would it make a useful souvenir or just more tat to find a home for?
  7. I found this voucher today too. I wondered if it was a special Latitudes cruise like a themed thing but obviously not. When I clicked on it it came up with the itinerary and said that it was modified so I don't know what it was before but it looks quite nice now.
  8. Thank you @BirdTravelsfor publishing these menus
  9. Just a quick update: the rose petal package does not include any rose petals just the wine, glasses and petit fours. All very nice but I was hoping for the rose petals since it would have been more romantic
  10. Thank you for your quick reply, I'm pleased to hear that, the happy couple should like it
  11. My son is going on his honeymoon on the MSC Musica tomorrow and we booked the Rose Petal Package for him hoping there would be rose petals scattered on the bed or at least on the tray but the description does not have them on the list of what is included. Does anyone know if rose petals are included or is it just a misleading name?
  12. I can't believe that they didn't just cancel my booking or leave me on the Grandiosa at least it is still going from Barcelona (our closest home port). I have written to my TA asking them to look into it and come back with options
  13. I booked a cruise for April 16th, 2023, going on MSC Grandiosa from Barcelona to Southampton but now when I log on to the MSC website it shows me as booked on the MSC Virtuosa from Hamburg to Southampton instead. According to the travel agent's website I am still on Grandiosa from Barcelona presumably there is a glitch on the MSC system or my cruise is cancelled and MSC just haven't got around to telling me or the travel agent yet. Does anyone here have any ideas what's going on?
  14. How do you get the certificate? Do you just upload a photo of your negative test and your passport?
  15. I live in Spain and get the EU website in English through https://www.ncl.com/fr/en/ I hope this helps
  16. Hi all I am thinking of booking a cruise for next year (US market) but I don't know who I am going to take with me. If I book with a non-refundable deposit can I change the name of my guest prior to final payment?
  17. There is a discount for under 25s but I don't know about over 65s
  18. Someone on YouTube also said that Red Bull was included, can anyone confirm?
  19. Our booking was updated. Our fabulous 1108 (4D) was replaced with 7536, a mid ship balcony with an adjoining cabin (5D). So we were downgraded, moved down 4 decks and generally got an unacceptable cabin. I called them and tried to swap to a better cabin but was told there was nothing available so it was a fait acomplis. I told them to shove it
  20. Beautiful, forward facing balcony cabins on deck 11
  21. Dear Guest, The International Maritime Organization recently shared new speed regulations we must adhere to and as a result, we’ve repositioned some of our ships for our upcoming 2023/2024 season. Our original plan for Voyager of the Seas was to offer sailings departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida through November 4th, 2023, and Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida beginning November 10th, 2023. Instead, Voyager will now sail from Galveston, Texas beginning May 9th, 2023. Adventure of the Seas will now take Voyager’s place in Florida and will offer similar itineraries! Starting July 28th, 2022, we’ll automatically move you to the new Adventure of the Seas sailing departing on the same day as your original Voyager of the Seas cruise. You’ll receive like-for-like accommodations onboard Adventure of the Seas, and your amenities will remain the same. Your vacation is important to us. While we’re confident you’ll have an amazing time onboard Adventure and enjoy many of the same features as Voyager, we still want you to have the flexibility to make the best decision for you and those in your party. Below, we’ve outlined your options along with a few additional details. Option 1: Stay onboard the new Adventure of the Seas cruise. We’ll automatically move you to the Adventure of the Seas sailing departing on the same day as your original cruise. So, there’s nothing for you to do! Your new sailing will still offer the same beautiful ports of call as your original cruise, and it’ll depart from the same destination. We’ll move you to a like-for-like stateroom and your original stateroom category price will either be protected at your original cruise fare rate or reduced to the current cruise fare rate (whichever is lower). This excludes taxes, fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items. If your booking was already paid in full and your cruise fare rate decreases, we’ll provide you with a refund for the difference. You can expect to receive your refund to your original form of payment within 14 business days after we move you. Kindly note, refund times may vary depending on your financial institution. Option 2: Re-book any other Royal Caribbean International sailing. If you prefer to re-book another sailing, we’ll waive any non-refundable deposit change fees. Please know, you’ll be responsible for any difference in pricing for your cruise fare, taxes, fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items. If your booking was already paid in full and your cruise fare rate decreases, we’ll provide you with a refund for the difference. You can expect to receive your refund to your original form of payment within 14 business days after we move you. Kindly note, refund times may vary depending on your financial institution. Option 3: If you can’t find a new itinerary that works for you and choose to cancel, we’ll be sad to see you go. You’ll receive: A full refund of any paid portion of your cruise fare (including non-refundable deposits) and any pre-paid amenities to the original form of payment within 14 business days – some international banking and financial institutions may have a processing time of approximately 30 business days. If you used a Future Cruise Credit on this sailing, and you request a refund instead, we’ll refund any NEW funds paid above the certificate amount, and we’ll reinstate your original certificate. If you booked your airfare through Royal Caribbean International, it will be automatically refunded to you. However, if you booked on your own, please contact the service provider directly for your options with them. Please know, if you choose this option, we will not provide additional compensation. Please note, any Cruise Planner purchases for your original Voyager of the Seas sailing will automatically be cancelled and refunded to your original form of payment. Feel free to re-book these items on your new ship and sail date. There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to shifting an entire season of sailings and rebooking all guests, so we ask for your patience as we work to make this process as easy as possible for you. All moves will be completed by August 18th, 2022, and we’ll send an updated reservation confirmation with your revised details to the email address on file as soon as your reservation has been completely updated with the pricing fully adjusted. If you decide to go with Option 2 or 3, please call us at 888-281-9344 or contact your Travel Advisor by August 18th, 2022. And know, hold times may be longer than usual. If we haven’t heard from you by August 18th, 2022, you’ll remain booked on the alternate Adventure of the Seas sailing.
  22. We just received an email that our booking on Voyager will be the same date and itinerary but on the Adventure. Generally it's the same ship but our cabin doesn't exist on Adventure OTS. We were booked in to 1108 on Voyager which is a cabin at the front of the ship with a huge wrap around balcony and there just isn't one of those on Adventure :(. Given that all the forward facing cabins on Adventure are ocean view only (no balcony) I will be disappointed if we are just moved to a standard balcony even though it is the same category. Do you think we should be asking for an aft facing balcony instead?
  23. Looking at July's offer it says that "Past guests get standard Latitudes points" does that mean that you won't get the bonus point?
