  1. I've had shellac replaced onboard although you can't book it in advance. Once you are onboard go to the salon and chat with them to see what the nail technician can offer
  2. Regarding the room swap try calling NCL and see if David can be moved to a deck 4 inside cabin. If not ask them if they can swap your cabins on the system. You would both need to be present for the phone call. Regarding the upgrade bid, I always bid on multiple room types, only one offer would be accepted the others would become void but obviously there is a chance that none would be.
  3. If you look at the curves on the wall where the curve goes out near the balcony that is where the bed is, if the curve goes out in the middle of the room then the bed is closer to the shower. According to the deck plan 9078 has the bed by the balcony
  4. I can't find any reference to 180 days in the t&Cs, where is it?
  5. You have to call Casinos at Sea to make the booking. I don't know if you can then transfer it to your travel agent
  6. Oh that's disappointing, I'm booked on a guaranteed category and my price has dropped from $1400 to $600.
  7. There is a local port shuttle which you pay for. It drops you right on the pier opposite the cathedral
  8. Are they starting to charge for shows onboard now. I know the dinner shows were extra but it doesn't look like this is a dinner show
  9. Where does it say about 180 days? I can only find reference to 30days on the reward
  10. Thank you everyone. I just did a screenshot of my portfolio showing the shares (although nowhere did it have my name) and sent that along with my completed shareholder benefit completed form and my passport. Within a few hours I had my OBC
  11. I have 100 shares in NCLH through eToro. Does anybody know how I prove that to send to NCLH for the OBC? Previously I did a screen shot showing my username and the shares but they seem to have changed the screen now so it doesn't show my name anymore, any ideas? Many thanks
  12. I will be Platinum for the first time in June and obviously I will benefit from the Platinum meals reward. With Free at Sea the tip is charged at point of purchasing the FAS but for the Platinum reward there is no charge at all so how much do I tip?
  13. Sorry, to clarify: one person can buy and use a $500 and a $750 on one booking?
  14. Isn't that the same in most restaurants? I have never separately tipped the guy who's washing the dishes
  15. Has anyone managed to get this on European sailings? I'm on Symphony in October and it's not there
  16. I would definitely recommend having Euros for European ports. Not every cafe/bar has a card machine and certainly market traders would want cash. You used to be able to go to guest services to change US$ to Euros but I don't know if they do that anymore if not there are atms at the ports and some ports have a bureaux de change
  17. I am actually looking at the second one but then I have no interest in going to Israel
  18. Sorry to revive an old thread but do they do this class on Symphony? I know she only has El Loco Fresh not Sabor but I was hoping they would have a similar class.
  19. There are plenty of comfortable seats outside Maltings or in O'sheehans which I think would suit your purposes alternatively you could go to the library but I don't know if it is open 24 hours a day.
  20. Thanks OP for coming back. So the answer is yes you would get penalized second time I'm afraid. Regarding the drinks package for an 18 year old, we cruised with ncl around the med when my son was 20 and they would only allow him to have beer and wine not a full drinks package I'm surprised that Royal wouldn't do the same.
  21. I live in Spain and have cruised the Western Med from Barcelona and Rome a few times. If you are only going to do this once I would recommend Rome in Limo for an excursion to Rome. For La Spezia I love going to Pisa but perhaps a Pisa and Florence combo excursion for architecture and history or Cinco Terre for scenic views (lots of walking typically). For Naples Sorrento is beautiful, Pompeii is impressive if you have never been but Herculaneum is more intact and gives you a better impression of what life was like. For Mallorca an excursion to Soller and Valldemosa would be good or just wander about in Palma city. If you get the chance to go to Monte Carlo from Marseille, do it, perhaps taking in the changing of the guard.
  22. I get what OP is asking: when making the first change $100 was added to the new fare,on a second change $200 would be added to the new fare ($100 for the first change and another $100 for the second change) is that correct?
  23. The Spirit is beautiful. It has a fabulous lounge/bar area at the front so you can see where you are going. I would say she would be ideal for Panama canal or Alaska or Norwegian Fjords if she is doing any of these itineraries when you are looking at going
