We'll be 2 points short of Diamond after our next cruise but as we live in the UK we don't get the option of 3 day cruises. ☹️

We were in Miami recently and a couple from Georgia left their luggage in the car overnight in the hotel carpark before a cruise. They were then were beside themselves next morning as all their luggage was stolen. They had a rant on another forum about the hotel, which I think was unfair. Again, why would you leave luggage in your car! Unfortunately, it can happen anywhere.

As we don't live in the USA we would incur some additional expenses such as car hire/ gas plus we'd have the boring drive up from Miami. Where as, flying to Orlando we could just stay overnight at the airport hotel and book a transfer to the port. Cheaper than hiring a car. We're now looking at all inclusive such as Sandals, flights and transfers included.

Thank you for the info, The flights are PE with Virgin Atlantic, we don't use BA as we have been let down in the past. The cruise is out of Port Canaveral, so not really worth flying to MIA for the extra hassle. We're now looking at other options rather than a cruise.

We were looking at a Caribbean cruise but have decided not to book it as the air fare from the uk is more than the cost of the cruise ( balcony 2d). Next may return flight London Heathrow to MCO is £2573.12 which is approx. $3345.00. Madness.....

Hi, hopefully a quick question! Has anyone purchased alcohol ashore in a port the day before disembarking? Next May we are due to visit Split in Croatia the day before we disembark, so will they still take the alcohol away , if so when do they return it as we leave the ship early next morning? The current price on offer for the deluxe drinks package for Mediterranean cruise May 2023 was £60.75 pppd yesterday and today its jumped to. Not much of a special offer as its £12 more per day! £72.85 GBP£91.06 GBP(20% OFF)

I just checked this morning and WOW, really! It was £60.75 yesterday which we thought was excessive so its now approx. $95 a day as a special offer. From £72.85 GBP / per guest per day £91.06 GBP onboard (20% OFF)PRE-CRUISE SAVINGS Reserve

Our drinks offer for next May is £60.75 a day which is about $79-80 (dependant on exchange rates)on a 7 day cruise. 😱 I'll keep checking the prices offered as others have mentioned.
