  1. Unfortunately RC has been quite slow to remove some very outdated references to covid protocols from its app screens.
  2. Adventure definitely isn't run down. It just hasn't been amped yet. If you're beach people, I'd go to St Croix/Tortola.
  3. Though theoretically that's what they'd be creating these ships for.
  4. Thunderstorms in port aren't what RC would use an in house meteorologist for anyway.
  5. You just have to ask when you board. It all depends on numbers for that given cruise.
  6. There was a severe thunderstorm warning that covered Port Canaveral that expired at 4:15pm that day. I haven't found exact times Indy left (scheduled for 4pm), but here's a Carnival ship leaving a few minutes before the storm hit. Weather didn't look overly imposing.
  7. "Person doing stupid stuff ends up in the water" doesn't get clicks as much as "person fell overboard" does.
  8. 3 ways to fall overboard. 1) Homicide 2) Suicide 3) Being stupid (and yes, typically alcohol involved)
  9. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq?country=USA
  10. Sounds like this one falls into the "doing something stupid" category of how to go overboard.
  11. It shouldn't be a problem at all to update the cruise reservation. Name changes on flights are harder, but if it's not past final payment, should be easy for Air2Sea to do.
  12. Odd, I didn't see trees as a C&A welcome amenity.
  13. I never noticed anything controversial on his twitter account
  14. People can be sympathetic about the death of a person unknown to them and be concerned about how they are going to get home. Humans are fully capable of emotional multi-tasking.
  15. If you know of anyone looking, have them apply. https://jobs.royalcaribbeangroup.com/job/Chief-Meteorologist/1031257900/
  16. One day during the cruise there will be a bag special. The other days you pay by the item.
  17. The issue is that they don't clear out the release notes from the last "noteworthy" update.
  18. It'd be nice if RC updated release notes once in a while
  19. This isn't always true. Storms don't always crawl in with plenty of lead time. They can pop up out of sunny skies in minutes. That's likely what happened here and why they pushed off when they did.
  20. Depends if passengers still had to vacate their rooms at the normal times.
