My husband loves to do laundry on cruises. It’s strange as I do it at home. He’s bummed because Royal has no self service laundry.

Over 1200 and we don’t cruise until Thanksgiving. I can’t wait.
Our last one was my dream cruise- a Baltic. I’m so glad we did it then. We took our daughter and new son-in-law. It was his first cruise.

I have done most of my cruises with Princess. We loved both the original Regal and the new one.
A Baltic cruise on the new Regal was my most recent one.
We have tried various lines and are doing a Thanksgiving cruise next year on Royal with our daughter and son-in-law. We have converted him to a cruise lover. The Baltic was his first so he had a great time.

Thank you. There’s actually an article on here comparing them to each other and a regular balcony. As long as we can be across the hall from each other, they would have access to our ocean view balcony. I think I’m going to try to get the Central Park ones.

Well, I should say our 1984 honeymoon but we got married in October and there was a hurricane..,husband took one look at his entree the first night and bolted. I had to tell the waiter he wasn’t coming back. I got sick later then hit my head on the sink and almost knocked myself out. So it was memorable.
My favorite was our 2019 11 day Baltic. It had been my dream to see St Petersburg.-

Great review. Brings back memories of our only big family cruise in 2009. So glad we did it as Grandpa and my husband’s brother have passed away.
Tell Suzy the Midsummer Night’s Dream quote if she doesn’t already know it - “though she be but little she is fierce”. This was my daughter who was also never the tallest but can hold her own.

Thank you everyone for the help. I think I’m booking tomorrow.
My daughter and son-in-law are interested in the balcony overlooking either Central Park or the Boardwalk. Does anyone have experience with this?
I am going to miss my Princess status but the furniture in the staterooms look much nicer.

Rudeney, thank you, that’s just the sort of thing I needed to know. I think we may try to book this week.
I’m just so used to Princess. It’s good to learn new things. My daughter and son-in-law are excited about the private islands. The one we’re booking goes to both.

I did try searching Oasis and the result was 517 pages, hence my plea for help.
I will just make my way through.

It will probably be Oasis for Thanksgiving of 2023. Still waiting for son-in-laws work approval.

We’re platinum on Princess and both daughter and son-in-law enjoyed our Baltic cruise on Princess in 2019.
However we aren’t comfortable doing a Mediterranean one yet so we’re looking at Royal for Thanksgiving in 2023.
We haven’t been on Royal since 2009. It will be an Oasis class ship.
Is there a cliff notes section or something where I can find out about reservations etc.

I bought the six for five in August on the Regal. Did not order ahead of time.
-
I tried Creme brûlée for the first time ever and it was so good I had it three times over the cruise. Also the bread and butter pudding with the pub lunch.

I like trivia also. And any ship tours- the galley on the Regal Princess was amazing to see. I’ve done the Ultimate Ship Tour also.

I’d love to get a surprise cruise. Can’t wait to hear what you decide to do.

Loved snorkeling with Woodwind tours in Bonaire.
This is is so true! I’ve snorkeled in other places but in Bonaire you could really see the colors of everything. Woodwind was great. I learned about them on CC.

It is! Did you take the harbor "busses" that are part of their transit system? A great way to see things. And so pleasant. We had an airbnb near the subway so we loved the ease. I'm sure you noticed all the bicycles...and how few people wear helmets. nd GREAT food.

No, we took a taxi to our hotel then walked a lot!

790! But I’m not too sad, as we just returned from a great Baltic cruise and my next is a western Mediterranean one.
-
Just off an 11 day Baltic on the Regal- we paid $159 for the Enclave. We really enjoyed it.
-
Welcome! I just returned from Copenhagen- wonderful city.

I’m onboard the Regal right now and booked an Enchanted Mediterranean for October 2021. Wanted to go to Malta so there weren’t a lot of choices.
