Is it possible to see the Maitre D once onboard and requested a specific table if you are in Open Dining? If we wanted 6pm each evening?

I have read there are four tiers in the Britannia restaurant so I assume Deck 2 is mainly level and Deck 3 has tiers?

We will be travelling on QM2 next year for our first TA cruise from NYC home to Southampton. I understand that the hour change is done at 12noon. We normally use our I Phone to set our morning wake up alarm but with the hour changes this could be problematic. Does the cabin have the facility to set a morning wake up alarm/call? Thank you

We are going to book our first TA from NY to Southampton 2025. Probably going to go for the June sailing. My question would be should we go for the deck 5 sheltered balcony cabin or a standard balcony on deck 11. we did consider club balcony too but would prefer to spend the extra cash on booking the Steakhouse speciality restaurant a few nights. Any thoughts would be very welcome

As a first timer on P & O and on Iona can I ask a few questions? We have booked an excursion in Olden through P & O for the Loen Skylift. The details say 12pm so I am assuming this is 12noon start time. Can anyone confirm that has done this trip with P & O in Norway? Also I have booked an independent excursion in Stavanger on a boat trip. Can anyone recommend trips in Alesund and Hauugesund please? I am found to book several of the speciality dining venues onboard and we are not huge fans of MDR’s. I see there is an afternoon tea in the Epicurean restaurant. What is the charge for this and is it daily or just sea days? How does this compare to the MDR afternoon tea? we have booked a conservatory mini suite on deck 9 mid ships.
