Finally spoke with a supervisor at HAL, who was very nice and transferred my booking. She told me I would hear from my new PCC in a few hours. Thanks to all my CC friends I was getting so frustrated.

According to my PCC’s phone message, her hours are 7AM to 3:30 PM pacific time. Since it is now 7:00PM EST I am guessing I will not get a call. I will try for one of the recommended agents tomorrow

This is probably a good idea…. I did call the general number and they told me my PCC would definitely call today. If not I will try that tomorrow. I really am a bit po.

I booked our cruise about four months ago with a new PCC, because my old PCC was no longer with the company. I have called for the last three days and requested a call. I haven’t received one. Now I am getting a bit aggravated. Has anyone ever changed PCC’s after booking? Do PCC’s make a commission on cruises booked, or are they on salary? I have never called since booking and wonder if PCC’s have no motivation to call once you are booked.

My brother and SIL have always booked a lanai cabin and bring their bikes for easy roll off roll on. As far as I know, no one has ever argued.

Yes I see that they are mixed up, as I will also hopefully be on the Zuiderdam voyage of the Vikings.

Thanks to Alphen I found out there will be two ships. Both HAL ships so maybe that will help.

Not sure if there are other ships in port that day….. we don’t need assistance and we are 4*’s but I don’t think that will matter. I’m just not a big fan of packing in with hundreds and I definitely need to work on my patience 😉

So given both of your replies I am guessing it could be very slow. We are sailing on the Zuiderdam and it will be coming in from Amsterdam. Oh well, I am greatful I will have plenty of time to recover from boarding.

I have only boarded here once on a different cruise line, unfortunately it was a real debacle due to a fast approaching hurricane and a total change of itinerary. I am hoping with HAL and no hurricane it will be easier. Any CC members with recent experiences?

Our deposit was paid months ago, so I understand we are not eligible for CFAR insurance. Is it wise to take the cruise lines insurance at this point when making the final payment?
