Our deposit was paid months ago, so I understand we are not eligible for CFAR insurance. Is it wise to take the cruise lines insurance at this point when making the final payment?

Have sailed NCL and won’t do it again. Agree with your review but thought the food in the main dining area was very poor.

Been on the old Maasdam, which I loved, in the ABC’s with no air conditioning for a few days and it was rough, hope you cool off soon!

Oh good so maybe I would be so very old I wouldn’t need it, however I remember my Dad having to get one when he cruised the Amazon and he was in his 80’s! Admittedly that was a while back.

So like everyone else I am still confused. Is a signature suite the same price as a suite? Also if I have already paid for the HIA with crew appreciation so will I have an increase for my cruise in July above and beyond for the 35 days? It would seem since we have already contracted for this it should be covered.

Your reports are so informative, I am loving your adventure. Not too sure about the “bugs” though…. I remember a very old archeologist telling me in my youth about her trip down the Amazon and how tarantulas would fall out of the trees and into the boat! I could definitely live without that.

Trying getting a walker with a seat if you can, it is way less cumbersome than a scooter and if you get tired you can just stop and sit down!😉

Great attitude! My dad passed recently just shy of100, and he cruised well into his 90’s and continued to shop cruises until he passed. He always told me that, “you will never regret the trips you did, some will be better than others, but you will always have those memories when you are old.” So I say , go for it.

If you are trying to book an excursion on HAL, and there are numerous time slots for the same excursion on the same day, should I waitlist on all the time slots or if I waitlist on one will I be offered the others if they come available?
