    Flights

What date are you flying & to what airport ? I see in May there are nonstops from AMS to ATL at 12:30 arr about 4 pm Than should be doable
  2. Maybe they are not longer doing it as no one reads the paper on the bed at night on HOW /WHERE to do it online while still onboard Some do not want to waste their time onboard to do the survey It took me about 10-15mins to do mine then DH did his
  3. It is not so much the cabin other than those over/under the Theater or under the gym but those pax occupying the adjacent cabins On one sailing we had neighbours that liked to stay up late ..no problem it is their holiday also The problem was they would come back to the cabin at 1 or 2 am & proceed to bang the drawers & the closet doors turn on the TV & talk very loudly to each other Some people it is all about them with no consideration to others

  5. One year we had a complaint about dining in Polo When we returned I mentioned it to my TA She said to send her the information & she would forward it to Oceania By noon that day I had a phone call from someone in charge at Oceania YMMV
  6. You have to do it while onboard There was info in the CURRENTS a few days before the end of the cruise on our cruise in Oct on how to access the survey while on the ship
  7. I just clicked on "sign in as Guest" & you can go as far as Make a payment But for solo's I think you need to call to get the best price I looked at one cruise with Solo pricing but it came out the same as for double Occupancy
  8. Did you ask the waitstaff to have someone come to get you a drink? Sometimes for whatever reason tables are missed for service I can live without the bar service but when they miss you for food service then we speak to the Maitre'd
  9. we usually go later so cannot not say what it is like at prime time In Sept we arrived at 5pm but ship was overnighting & were were onboard in 10 minutes
  10. we have sailed from Montreal twice last time in Sep 2023 Just go to the terminal they take your bags then you go inside & check in No fuss no muss😃

  12. Hopefully those booking online would do their due diligence before hitting that "BOOK" button & paying the deposit The T & C's are on the website for people to read ahead of booking https://www.oceaniacruises.com/legal/terms-conditions If you do not understand something then best to contact the company & have it explained to you not just blindly click & pay It is not a cheap purchase for most people I find it very strange people would commit to spending 10k + & not read the terms JMO
  13. Practice makes perfect 😀
  14. There were actually 2 changes to the cancellation terms The admin fee which used to be transferable changed in the spring to Non Refundable The next change was the $150 non refundable from day 1 of your booking which if you booked after Sept 1st 2023 kicked in It is on your invoice but some people just do not read them until there is an issue JMO
  15. It may be allowed if the pax was moving a booking to another cruise at the same time cancelling one If the pax cancels the cruise hoping to look for another cruise in the near future ..probably not allowed to move the admin fee It is probably a cases by case decision JMO
  16. So if the info is on the pax invoice that is clearly communicated If the PAX chooses not to read their invoice or Cruise contract who do you fault then??
  17. Have you looked at the Cancellation penalty schedule?

  19. If people booked before the new Cancellation rules were implemented (Sept 1st for the $150 anytime cancellation fee) then the rule at the time they booked is still in effect The Admin fee did change where you used to be able to move it to another cruise & now the Admin fee is non refundable if you cancel at the 180 day to 151 day mark after that point the cancellation penalties kick in https://oceaniacruises.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005306234-What-is-your-cancellation-and-refund-policy- I am sure you understand the difference People need to check their invoice to see where they fall in the cancellation rules
  20. Things change & policies change Some never check the details until the S*** hits the fan JMO
  21. also check the requirements of the Country you are visiting https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages.html We have done the full Canal transit 3 times over the years & never "Required" shots
  22. Well I missed those seats 😬 Were they at the back of the theater??
  23. They changed the policy several months ago but I think it depends on WHEN you booked if you will get the full deposit back https://oceaniacruises.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005306234-What-is-your-cancellation-and-refund-policy- There is a thread discussing the change https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2958035-new-cancellation-policy/ If you booked in Europe you may have other options
  24. Usually the GDR is open for lunch on Sea days is this not the case on your cruise?? Also the TERRACE is usually open the same hours as the GDR for dinner is this also different on your sailing? They usually have the opening hours liste on the back of the CURRENTS
