We’ve had the same experience (and are Canadian also), which is why we prefer to eat alone.

We were on the Marina in May. This was our first Oceania cruise, having done many HAL cruises and one Cunard transatlantic. The food was terrific. Also, the service was wonderful. My husband walks with a cane, and when we were in the Terrace, someone immediately took his plate to a table and brought any drinks we ordered. We were totally satisfied.

On our cruise on Marina in May-June, we didn't receive one either (we were in a PH). I asked our butler, and he said they were unavailable because of a supply issue.

Yes - from Canada - in May, we did an onboard booking during an upgrade sale and we’re able to book (Canadian prices a bit complicated but successful), upgrade, reduced deposit, onboard credit- all transferred immediately to our TA.

In our early days taking cruises, we had some lovely experiences sharing tables. Lately (although pre-COVID), we had some rather unpleasant ones - not on Oceania - when people discovered we are from Canada we needed to defend our healthcare system, were called 'Socialists', etc. We prefer to stay quiet and not argue, but it isn't pleasant to hear how terrible our country is from others at a table. At our only COVID-era cruise, this past May (our first Oceania cruise), we ate by ourselves for safety as well as sanity. However, I met some lovely people on the few shore excursions I did.

Thank you - for our last cruise, we made our own reservations online. But with this complication, we'll ask our TA who is excellent.

Hello - as a regular CC reader, I know that people ask about the reservations, and I hope that I'm not asking a question already answered. I did search but found no similar questions. Next July, we'll be on the Marina on the London-Copenhagen cruise with our daughter and granddaughter. We'll be in a Penthouse, while they will be in a Veranda. When reservations open for us (earlier than for them), can we make reservations for the four of us? Thanks for your help.

We were told that we couldn’t combine the offers.

It worked for us-an ocean view to veranda and an A1 to PH3 on the same cruise. Much better savings than the onboard bonus, and we received the onboard booking $100 onboard credit for both cabins.
