CK never shows in the app and i do find that a bit frustrating. when i asked about it before my cruise they said Reservation will be made and appear in your Royal App one day prior boarding as this is the moment when we can take over of anyone’s reservations. but thats outright false. in person she told us they cannot appear in the app. so you dont know until you board what your times are so you can plan other things. the good news is last week they gave me 90 percent of the times i wanted on oasis so i was lucky

speaking of food on lifeboats, we just did the tour on oasis. someone asked about food on the life boat. he said NO food and water allowed for 24 hours once you get on the life boat but inferred if you take meds you can drink . he also said if the motors dont work they get 'big strong men' to turn the propellers.

i rented an aquasuite so the room service wings were free! . 🙂 im not a wing person but had the buffalo 2x last week and they were nice and spicy. so i recommend a suite so you can get free room service and save that pesky room service charge.

they def want you to be happy. in CK last week i asked about a dish and can they remove the X from it. they said it was already baked on it but could make me a new one without it. turns out communication barrier and for some reason they just put it under the main course, not on top. i said thats ok ill just have my dessert as i wasnt that hungry really anyway. they started offering me other things and said what about the kids menu. almost forcing me to eat lol. i decided to get the chicken tenders and dang were they actually really good! so they really get out of sorts if you dont eat or have an issue. they also seem sad we dont drink coffee in the morning. but we dont!

my 1st cruise ever was haven on NCL and ill never forget the woman at the bar complaining about the tiny bit of tax she had to pay when we were in manhattan port. after paying haven pricing! regarding the carnival issue, can you 'pay for' a drink while in port? i'm assuming their packages are much cheaper than all other lines not to want to pay that tax.

other than the aqua show, practices, and movies, what else goes on in the theater?

any way to get non refundable royal obc thru the slot machines? i have 100 because of the pricing error thing earlier this year to burn.

do the suites below deck 17 still get 2x a day? i personally dont need it 2x and sometimes it's even too much/unnecessary. but other times like for a cabin crawl you do want it ship shape! also sometimes they are 'too good' as well. for instance i like the dailies on the coffee table to read but they insisted on putting them where they wanted/are taught etc. sure their way looked cleaner but we all like things our own way and we are renting that space.

ah ok, well as long as the stewards are all the same quality thats all that matters.

we are filling those out for next weeks cruise so i'm glad i asked. maybe it's 1 attendant per floor is the rule. so on the huge family 2 level suites on other ships or the royal loft maybe there are 2 as well

normally are are in a crown loft and they always had 2. i'm assuming the higher level of suite means 2 as well but wanted to properly plan for tips

ive never see any fees deducted from my obc.. also id think on this forum people would be complaining if there was such a hidden fee

i read a few different forums and cant remember if it was royal or someone else that will stop you at the ship exit and force you to go to guest services to get cash instead of the OBC being put on your CC.

water is so cheap on royal compared to NCL so buying it is a no brainer. even when i'm in a suite i buy some so its on hand there (not always enough hands to carry it back from the suite lounge, especially if in an aqua suite it's far!)

i'm currently watching the entire love boat series and the amount of fakery that had to go on back then is crazy. just give someone elses room number. couldnt do it regularly though or they would catch you on a ship of 600 with just one bartender

is the jazz casino crowded or busy? oasis

one time we arrived 2 hours after vision but there was an issue and no one could leave the ships. so we got to leave about same time as them and still got acceptable seats but we arent at the waters edge type of people anyway. prefer the pool to beach

sundays oasis. bizarre, who wouldnt come up with 200 bucks more for the suite? i cant believe that outside is that expensive for a non holiday sailing also very strange that there are every room type available this close to sailing

id like first hand experience from someone who lived through it. ive seen more lost luggage stories lately and even if you have insurance, what is the practical application of that insurnace? do they pay for new clothes you buy on the ship...phone charges..toiletries etc do they pay for the stuff you lost..do you need receipts etc. how do you prove what you lost?
