  1. They said it is a la carte or a 3 course meal on Alfredo’s/Gigi’s coming up. We don’t know the a la carte prices yet. August we will know after it rolls out.
  2. We’ve seen it also MDR at lunch on sea days. You will see it listed on the Patter sometimes or just on the lunch menu that day. Doesn’t seem as good as the old pub lunches they used to have. But, it is a nice change anyway.
  3. You’re not using the App to order the drink, so there should be no charge. Same as if you go up to the bar and order a drink, there’s no delivery fee. You will of course, if standard fare, pay for the drink plus 18% gratuity.
  4. Really? You think if you already paid the ON $15 fee, you cannot use the phone? Makes sense, but ridiculous IMO. Problem, you can’t even get glasses of water or put notes on the RS order via the App. I made an order and would have to phone RS to add items, like glasses of water, iced tea, Wine glasses, fruit basket, etc. This is getting interesting. 🤔
  5. And that’s exactly what cruising should be! All about you and your desire to have a fabulous cruise experience. It’s different for everyone. You be you! Love it.
  6. Well, the webinar said the hang tag on your door for bkfst is still complimentary as well as the website Q&A. They don’t know that the card has been eliminated? So, bring a paper and pen, so you can make your own. 🥴 Just kidding. Trying to lighten up this thread. 😉
  7. Doing the check in, is going to your muster station once OB and a crew member there will scan your Medallion. Then you will watch the video on your TV or your phone. That should not activate a charge. You’re not ordering anything.
  8. Did you try it in the pool? With all those nuts maybe it will float? 😂 Wait, they probably cut down on the nuts! 😜
  9. So don’t use the APP on your TV or phone to order these items. Use the phone in your cabin or just tell the steward.
  10. Yes, agree. The crew usually takes the brunt of changes. Changes are a big deal for the crew to try to learn and implement. Just look since the restart, all the changes really affected the crew. Now, new ones!
  11. Now I’m confused too. You say there is clarity from PCL? If you Pay or initiate the $15 APP ocean now fee for delivery…there will not be a separate $5 RS fee? If I want RS and order using the APP (after I paid the $15 fee) I won’t have to pay additional $5?
  12. 1. Surely, you’ll be able to use “locate” shipmates on the kiosks around the elevators? 2. Surely, Suite guests will not be charged $5 RS? They can order off the MDR menu to their cabin. Surely, they won’t charge for that RS? Still many things to clarify. Hopefully, we will find out next month from guests OB.
  13. Yes and it depends on who is running the country in Brazil. Anyway, sure hope it will be an evisa and less invasive too.
  14. Maybe for short cruises it is a small value for some. But I have 113 days booked and that would cost an extra $13,000 to $18,000 for Plus/Premier. I already have Elite priority boarding. That’s expensive for room service & casual dining. Not a value for some people.
  15. Here’s the visa requirement information so far for US Citizens. https://www.gov.br/mre/pt-br/consulado-washington/consulate-general-of-brazil-in-washington-dc/visitor-visa-vivis-2013-stays-up-to-90-days
  16. I’m sure they have not updated the websites yet. The roll out spans over the month of August. One ship in September. I bet they will start updating very soon.
  17. Yes, this time of year and relentless heat, even afternoon is bad. We always go Spring and Fall to Europe. All the excursions were in the morning and so crowded. The next time we grabbed a taxi in the afternoon and it was half the amount of people and no one was passing out. But, this time of the year, IDK if I could handle the heat.
  18. There’s still the telephone. RS, Cabin steward, unless they charge for that too. 😳
