  1. If it’s a very low fee, I’d probably go for the WS. You can always go out on the decks for viewing. But, the WS would give you the suite amenities, much more than a MS. Sabatini’s for bkfst, Reserve dining, etc. At least try it this time, something different. JMO.
  2. It sounds like you’re doing what you can do. I hope the TA can straighten this out.
  3. You really need to work this out with your TA. It may take many calls between TA and PCL, but they have control of your booking.
  4. This is so aggravating. I don’t understand, that if you went through a TA…was it the TA that made an error? Or, did you call into PCL to change your cabin? Or, was it the TA you called and they failed to advise of the increase? Sounds as though they rebooked the cabin and it was higher? PCL is not supposed to touch a TA booking, especially, rebooking it or making changes. Hopefully, it wasn’t a PCL agent who changed it. No matter what, your issue should be with the TA, as they own that booking. I would definitely call them immediately and see what they did. I do not believe that increase sounds correct, if they did not advise you when you changed the cabin. I would speak to the manager of the TA if you need to. Best of luck to you. Let us know.
  5. Just going into settings > safari> clear history and website data.
  6. Also Apple iphone update 1.2.0 today. Minor bugs. 😝
  7. Wow! Impressive. So, you average the shorter cruises, or a combo? We do the longer cruises, now that we’re retired. It does get a little boring with meal repeats every 7-10 days. So we mix it up with CD, SD, IC, Buffet etc. Ours are usually over 30-50 days. But, at least we don’t have to cook or clean! 🤣
  8. Did you try to google the ship and date of sailing? It may still show up on some TA sites. Do you have a TA/CVP?
  9. Make sure clear cache and history. Delete App and reinstall App. See if that helps.
  10. Advising the gate agent when you arrive at the gate is a must! Also, going through the scanner using both BP’s is also a must. Seats would be accounted for. EZAir probably will just have to manually book this extraseat reservation.
  11. That’s a great question. I know the airline can book the extra seat, as they put your name as 2Amarillo/Pescado/Extraseat. Alerting extra seat booked for you. I would call EZAir and ask what their procedure would be. It would have to be up to EZAir since you’re booking through them. Do let us know.
  12. Agree. We’ve had loud neighbors in a non-connected cabin. You just never know. I do avoid the connecting ones, if I have a choice. 🥴
  13. Good question. I knew this would be an issue. Not what we were told at all. If I were traveling next month, I’d call my TA/CVP and see if they could help. Probably not, but at least they could report it. Try again after June 17th, if your cruise is after this date. If unable, then for a SD, book it once OB, call the dine line from your cabin phone. Hopefully, you’ve already made your MDR reservations. Those were supposed to remain intact, if it was for a cruise prior to Sep 14, 2024.
  14. B705 is a connecting cabin to B707. So, I would avoid B707, but that’s just me. Otherwise, don’t see an issue. Elevators have never been a problem for us.
  15. According to their update information, you should not be affected since your traveling in August. You should be able to book your dining NOW. However, it seems their programming is affecting many who are trying to book MDR or SD at this time. Let us know when you are able.
  16. Of course, we know it’s subjective with some ports. When we traveled with children, they were much more lenient. Q & A May I bring my own food on a Princess cruise? The only food that Princess always permits onboard is pre-packaged items, such as breakfast bars or snacks. Most fresh food is subject to customs restrictions and is highly discouraged
  17. SMH. Ridiculous. When’s your cruise? July the Sun? Retry after June 17th, once they have finished their update. I hope it’s on sked.
  18. Yes, I bet they do! Lol. Just quoting the rules. Security does their own thing. But, Princess does say only pre packaged foods such as snacks and food bars.
  19. Great idea! If they allow you to bring food OB. From US ports usually only pre packaged food is permitted. Would be up to customs that day. 🥴
  20. They did put Happy Birthday Jim on the cake I pre ordered. DH did not like the fondant icing. Taste like rubber! Lol Very cute cake, though. Anyway, if you have a few days, you might check with your head waiter and ask if a cake for 10 could be made, customized with name, etc. Not sure how much they would accommodate you, but I bet they will try. I requested lemon meringue cake for my bday and it was just for the two of us. They did it and it was much better than that chocolate mousse cake. Normally, I don’t mention our celebrations because we don’t like all the mousse desserts. But, they asked me what I liked. 🥴
  21. Not sure if the dining is open in Nov for the Sun. If it is, then I would try again, but try on the website version of the App under Dine my way. It also could be ab error response because the IT department is redoing the MDR on all the ships for cruises after Sep 14th. The reservations should he up and running on June 17th! Hopefully. This is not supposed to involve SD, but I bet it will affect them while they reprogram. JMHO
  22. According to Princess, you do have early access to Dine my way. https://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/cc/captains-circle-loyalty-benefits.pdf You should be able to make it on June 17th, IF it’s up and running. Unless, it’s a new ship, they may not be available yet. IDK.
  23. This is not on the website, you will need to use the App, as demonstrated above. If you don’t want to download the App, you can ask your TA or CVP to purchase it for you. My CVP would no it if I needed them to. If you booked directly with PCL, they could assist, but many of them are not trained properly. Or, you can purchase it once OB. NP.
