  1. Really? It says even with at home tedts, unopened. Says $9.99 online today. Anyone tried this with a cruise for PCL?
  2. If it is later in the day at EWR, you may have some delays. Earlier is better. However, if you are late, make sure to go to the gate or customer service counter at EWR and explain. They can at least get you on a standby list for the next flight, if seats are not available. You want to make sure to tell them, so they can help. If that flight shows as a valid connection on their website, then they do that every day and should not be a problem getting you through customs.
  3. What time of day is the connection at EWR?
  4. Normally, yes. They are trained for misconnects (delayed flights) and it happens all the time. They know you are making a connection at EWR, if you are connecting to a UA flight. I say normally, because….is it a connection that is from UA to UA flights? Does it show as a connection on the UA website? If yes, you should be fine. And if it’s one of the pre-cleared airports, you’ll just go to the connection gate.
  5. That’s good to know. How did you find the information?
  6. Are you taking Paxlovid with you? Some of us can’t get it ahead of a cruise.
  7. We’ve always precleared in Canada for our US flight. Here’s a link you can check for your airport in Canada. Also, check with UAL. They would rebook you on the next available flight, but most flights are heavily booked these days. https://www.cbp.gov/travel/preclearance?language_content_entity=en
  8. I wish there was. The only thing we have found, is you can ask crew if your ob. They may have an idea. We asked about the CB before it went in dry dock and crew told us a few things. If it’s a refurbish, of course a lot more will be done.
  9. I saw the stock market reviews for CCL stock and it says they are $56 billion in debt from the shutdown. You can search that anywhere on the internet.
  10. Maybe it’s a PCL hotel that includes a transfer?
  11. I agree it would be nice. But, with a $36 Billion dollar debt, CCL holdings, which includes PCL, of course, has to find a balance between passenger loads and keeping us safe. They have gradually increased loads since the restart in 2021. In order to survive they must start to fill the ships. JMO I hope you enjoy your cruise and stay safe.
  12. I’ve seen it many times over the years. It does state in several places, shorts are not allowed in the MDR.
  13. This posting said it was a RUMOR! The only ships requiring masks are the ones with a lot of covid guests. The mask requirement is to slow down the transmission on board. And YES, some do get quite ill from covid, just read the posts. A rumor is a rumor or spreading of misinformation. If you have a large amount of covid onboard, just deal with it and follow the rules. No one likes to wear a mask, but why get in such tissy?
  14. I would go to a roll call currently on a cruise and ask those who have recently stopped at Civitavecchia. Same ship if possible.

  16. Yes, that’s been scheduled since last year.
  17. Hoping it will be fixed in dry dock this October 2022. It will be doing long cruises in Nov roundtrip to the South Pacific and Hawaii.
  18. So funny, I was just typing at the same time. lol
  19. Wow. Most companies around here go by the CDC recommendation that 5 days in isolation and if no fever at the end if 5, then return to work days 6-10 masked. Not all, but most.
