That was really common in the beginning.
They are supposed to check the picture and cabin no. that comes up on their handheld device, or their computer, when you approach the bar.
Some people complain if they ask their name or cabin no. They
should be verifying who is ordering these drinks.
I don’t get it. Who wants to waste their time going up to GS? I would call from the cabin or do the crew chat.
Really hope that is not true.
Although, that’s the way RCI has been going. I hope PCL lowers the price of deposits, been paying $400 PP on the longer cruises.
May just wait until closer to FP to book and take my chances on cabin selection. Or, wait until the price comes down to a reasonable fare for folks.

They are going to use them. They want to eat at the same SD, same day and time.
They just arranged the tables so we could sit together.
We have also just called once
OB and booked it, because I wanted to use OBC.
We each booked it on the App DMW same time, same day and each paid for our own SD. Once we got OB, I called the dine line in the cabin and told them we had booked and would like a table all together. No problem.
Otherwise, we would have had to straighten out the charges once OB and didn’t want to do that.
From the threads I have read, they were NOT charged a RS fee for these elite benefits.
I have not personally experienced it since the change last month.

They did away with them.
Look on your travel summary and above the itinerary, it tells you when the boarding time and sailing time is for your ship.
You can show up before that, whatever is convenient for you or up to 90 mins before sailing.
As @chrysalis mentioned, the best way is to call the Dine line from your cabin when you are OB and reserve your time and dates.
Casual dining isn’t always available to book ahead, however, Planks and Steamers should be booking ahead of time, once OB though.
They are all different port fees, unless someone just had the same port cancelled, you won’t know exactly.
Not very much money for most ports. Did they replace it with another port?
They will put the credit on your folio.

At this point, I’d take my summary to GS. Screenshot the App where it says paid.
You can always purchase it once OB with the loyalty discount.

I have done that a couple of times, after the IT updates the APP and causes more issues.
It worked for me.
You should be able to buy the MedNet with PCL for her or ask your TA/CVP if they will add it.
I would definitely print out the travel summary once everything is confirmed, or screenshot it.
Whomever is the primary account holder, may need to go into the App, payment methods…
delete the CC and add it again, making sure to show the other guest as an authorized user.
The CC issue has been around for the last few years off and on.

We are probably about the same as the majority of PCL cruisers. We pay the suggested tipping amount charged daily on our folio and tip extra when warranted by excellent service! We still think PCL has the best crews out of all the lines we’ve sailed.
