Yes just saw a review of the Ascent and there were multiple artists around the ship, guitarists, violin players and they sounded lovely. Think the pricing is comparable to HAL

They need a piano player on the ship in the bars , even for a short time. It’s crowded in the other venues. Hell if I could play I would go over and tickle the ivories

Wow I used it three times on Koningsdam and received a call every time, guess I was lucky

They sure read the comments in the Navigator app and they respond very effectively. I was very impressed with this.

Same with me cruise to Alaska and I did not have his issue on Rotterdam. The ship was packed and it was awful

I have booked online , then was contacted by the cruise consultant for travel arrangements and asked to have my membership,added. She said she’s send a link but don see one.

Had wonderful,priest on Koningsdam last month. It’s the main reason I sail with Hal

I was on deck four cabin 4135 and it was great, no noise and a large balcony with some obstruction, would choose it again

Did Rudy Sodamin leave HAL? Was on Niew Statendam in first year of sailing and it seemed to me that his menus were much better, but maybe due to cut backs they changed it up. Putting boiled eggs on dishes like crab cake and seafood cocktail, can’t eat them.i know I can request without but it is an odd choice. Last month at the brunch they brought out a crab cake the size of a loonie.with this egg on top. Everyone at or table laughed . My husband thought he was getting two crab cakes as they were plural on the menu , had just ordered that and was hungry so he asked for another one. Guy beside us joked about Oliver Twist,

I was on Rotterdam last November and agree about the Pinnacle food. The bread was so hard You could throw it against the wall and it would not break. Baked potatoe was cold and gray and I saw other diners complaining. That was really my only bad experience in nine days but I stayed on deck six. On Koningsdam the Pinnacle was fabulous, warm bread, baked potato great and food v good but I preferred the Rotterdam, had obstructed on deck four, with large balcony. Seems to be issues with quality control across the fleet. Imho

The vegetable smoothies were quite good

Sorry you had to go through all this Terri. Just a heads up , I require wheelchair assistance and have flown five times with Ai Canada. They provide assistance before and after flights. They were very good to me. They a have been under a lot of heat for not providing this service in the past so I guess they are really stepping up. I can’t say enough good things about their assistance. Have to call ahead .

I used to line up every day for them with a latte, didn’t have them on the Koningsdam, had giant chocolate chip cookies and they were pretty good.

Elephant ears are a French pastry also known as palmiers, puff pastry cut and rolled to look like ears ,then sprinkled with sugar. I can’t leave them alone

They need this on all the ships

If they have them try the elephant ears. They are highly addictive with a latte
