  1. When I booked my med cruise a few weeks ago they were offering 150$ OBC if you took an interior room or interior/exterior window rooms. But not on balconies.
  2. How cold is cold for you all? I've lived in Florida 15 years now, so I've gotten pretty used to hot water at the beach vs in Massachusetts where the Boston ocean doesn't get "warm" till the end of August, and never as warm as any Florida beach.... I've been to Coco Cay six times total in the months of September, October, November, December, ....and in February, and it's never been 'too cold' for me to swim/snorkel in the ocean or use the big party pool. 🤷‍♂️ (and I'll be there in less than 2 week, with plans to hop in the ocean, yet again)
  3. Freedom class is definitely my favorite. Freedom itself was my first ship and what got my interested in cruising ❤️ It was big and had all the cool amenities but didn't feel toooo big. I've tried to get on another Freedom ship but post-booking we had both a ship and port change, so I didn't get to try Independence. Voyager is my most traveled class and probably my second favorite. Been on Voyager and Mariner (3 times) with 3 more sailings booked on a Voyager class ship, 11 day on Explorer and two 7 days on Voyager, again. 😬 I've only done one Oasis sailing, on Harmony when it was new-new, I think we were on it'd third ever sailing. Shipnwas *massive* and we really enjoyed it but it also always seems like the Oasis sailings are more expensive than the older / smaller ships with the same itineries...so we tend to just go with the cheaper cruise 🤷‍♂️ but I'll be on Allure in 2 weeks, so maybe that'll restart my interest in the other Oasis' despite the price point. Radiance class is nice, I've been on two of them, Radiance itself and also Brilliance. Wouldn't have any issues booking a sailing on one again. "Ultra" Quantum? My first group cruise was on Odyssey, I liked the ship even if the layout felt kinda, odd. Nobody else in my group seemed to like it, at all, and there were some hiccups along the way, so that didn't help things either. I'd be down to try the class again but the friend group is pretty outspoken about avoiding that class Vision class is for sure my least favorite, having been on Vision, Rhapsody, and Grandeur with my sailing on Vision being bu far the worst ship and cruise experience I've had...and since it was my second cruise ever, almost put me off cruising in general. 🤮 ....and then I also had the chance to do the former Empress of the Seas and two sailings on the Sovereign class, Majesty, my first repeated ship, ha.
  4. I've had it once and we booked it when it was on sale. It actually got so low it was cheaper to buy the key for our 8 day cruise than it was to get the internet package!. We did the included lunch thing but were underwhelmed (I'm a vegetarian, so Chops was meh) and outside of that, used the seating area for one of the shows, once, but felt out of place when one of the crew members basically snapped at us for sitting in the pinnacle / suite / KEY areas, with our key benefits,, making us feel honestly uncomfortable.
  5. Pretty much, this. We got it on our Bermuda cruise because it was on sale for *less* than the internet package at the time and outside of the seating for shows I didn't think it was really worth it, for me (besides internet alone, being more)
  6. Just checked my November cruise and it shows You don't have a balance due and I've only paid for half of it, soooo whatever is going on, it still going on!
  7. 100% under the pool deck, never again. We heard every... single... chair... that was moved/dragged across the deck from inside our room on Harmony 😐
  8. ......annddd.... it already came! And I didn't even pay for the expedited thing! 😳
  9. Oops, I knew I wasnt gonna wait that long! Lets go with 52 days, since I just booked a 4 dayer for Feb 😄
  10. Well, I guess I can chime in here. Passport expired end of this month. Put it in the mail at the beginning of the month... went to check the status just now and all it shows was that my old passport has been received but no further information 🙃 oops, hopefully it makes it here within 7 weeks, or I'll be having to do the birth certificate thing, and I really don't wanna. (I also wasn't expecting to need my passport this soon, I didn't have anything originally planned until November)
  11. How interesting. Not even a month ago I was given a bottle of champagne, as was my friend, while we simultaneously booked a next Cruise (separate reservation, separate room)
  12. I've done Dunn's River Falls twice now on two sailings 10 years apart and loved it both times. I booked via Royal and the tour also included a cave tour, both times, after doing the water fall climb. Definitely would recommend if wanting something exciting but not extreme
  13. I've done a 3 on RC but I'm in Orlando so it not a big deal. If the price is good, why not? My only visit to Freeport was on the 3 day, and while most seasoned Cruisers might not care at least it wasn't Nassau for once, it was a nice change. I also always look for the short cruises if I'm close to leveling up in the loyalty program. If I can move up on the shorter sailing and have those benefits for the next, potentially longer Cruise...again, why not.
  14. Just off my last cruise, yesterday. For now, my next cruise is November 2024..... or, 429 days away :( .....but we'll see if we can sneak one in somewhere around February/March
