grapau27 replied to Host Sharon's topic in P&O Cruises ( UK )
Pauline hates sport especially football so I will watch on TV -
Thank you for today's lists Roy and for your concern about my x-ray appointment. It is 12.23pm here and my knee X-ray appointment is 13.40pm. The clinic is 10 minutes drive from home. Graham.

Good afternoon. It is currently 55°F and sunny. Thank you for today's daily and fleet reports Rich. We always keep every room clean. I think we should all trust our intuition. Small businesses are extremely necessary for all our economies. I will give today's food and drink a miss. We have been to Dubai 3 times and this is where our Emirates cruises embarked. We stayed pre cruise and got to see a lot of Dubai. We had an awesome afternoon tea at the Hotel Burj Al Arab. Prayers 🙏 for everyone on the care list. Graham.

I like your new Avatar Buddy. I have an appointment tomorrow for x-rays on both my knees. -
Nice photos Terri. You both look well after your recent illness on board your ship. Graham

I have arthritis in my hips and previously had a torn cartilage in my right knee so I suspect arthritis. The pain is on the inside of both knees and worse in the morning after sleeping on my side and Knees rubbing together during sleep. Doctor said he will see what the x-ray shows and will possibly give steroid injections in my Knees.

Hi Sandi. We visited Abu Dhabi on Brilliance of the seas in 2011 and again in 2012 and everyone was talking about the Concordia disaster. We visited again on Vision of the seas in February 2017. I have posted some video of the Sky dome in the Marina Mall in another post. Graham.

Good afternoon. 59°F and cloudy here. Thank you for today's daily and fleet reports Rich. Thank you for today's lists and my inclusion Roy. Interesting days and quote. The meal sounds nice but I will give the drink a miss. We have been on 3 Emirates cruises from Dubai and visited Abu Dhabi each time. We were in the large Abu Dhabi Mall when the news of the Costa Concordia disaster came through. Prayers 🙏 for everyone who need them. Wishing everyone a lovely day. Graham.

Good morning. Some nice laughs from this morning's posts. 15°C and partly cloudy here. -
Trieste is roughly 150 km from Venice or 90 miles. Your pick up point needs clarification. When we stayed pre cruise near Piazzale Roma there was numerous buses and taxis in the big square there.

Valletta Malta has an amazing sail in and the town has a lot to see plus shops and restaurants. Palermo and Crete are nice too.

When I had a really bad covid infection in November 2020 before the vaccines Pauline did not get it and when Pauline tested positive for covid the day we got off our March 14 night cruise I fortunately didn't get it and we were in close proximity of each other all the time. Graham.

We have sailed from Venice 3 times and it is a shame the cruise ban is in place because the sail in and out of Venice is awesome. You can reach Piazzale Roma in about 20 minutes by taxi from Venice Marco Polo airport. I hope you have an amazing cruise as there are lots of nice ports in Croatia,Greece and Turkey sailing down the Adriatic sea. Graham.
