It had too much seafood and white wine selections for my preference, but seafood lovers would really enjoy it! My DD loved it.

I hear you which is why I began looking elsewhere. I just booked a 7-day Royal Harmony OTS cruise in a Royal Star Class Suite (includes unlimited specialty dining, ultimate beverage package, WiFi and more) with a Genie (1:1 Butler) for half the price of a Haven suite.

We did one on the Royal this year too. It was not as good as the Princess one IMO, but it was a little cheaper. This was our Menu:; LOVED the dessert!!;

Key Access - Haven and non haven room
HBCcruiser replied to MidWestChill's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Well, for her, not for those of us in the Haven. 😆 -
From a recent cruise it shows 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Be aware that hours could change depending upon staffing and the child/staff ratio needs.

Key Access - Haven and non haven room

THAT 👆👆👆👆👆 Unfortunately only people booked in the Haven suite can enjoy the Haven perks. It makes sense. Otherwise everyone on the ship would be crammed in the Haven! 😂 -
Royal Caribbean and Princess offer them. The price ranges from around $80-$100. Usually they serve a multiple course meal with wine pairings. One of the chefs describes and presents the food. Great food and wine but a lot of it! On Princess they also give you a signed cookbook. Pretty cool. A few Photos from the Grand Princess Chef’s dinner April ‘22.;

Key Access - Haven and non haven room

Only the passengers booked in the Haven can enjoy the Haven. Your husband would not be able to enjoy the bar, restaurant, lounge, pool or other Haven amenities. You will be able to let them into your suite, but I am not sure if they will give you additional Haven access keys. Perhaps someone else can address that one. -
That PDF is only for the category of suites listed, which includes the DOS on NON Haven ships. It is NOT for the Haven suites. Example: When we are in the Sky DOS I expect to have the sparkling waters and sodas and bottles of wine (in our case) included free. On the Breakaway Haven 2bd Suite I do NOT expect to have any of that included. Hope this helps. I know it is confusing, but not unlike Royal Star Class VS Sky Class.
-
I do know that the 2bd Haven suite does not include the sparking water. That is an added cost. The butler will put complimentary pitchers of still water or ice tea in the refrigerator for you if you ask, but not sparkling water. You should ask the butler to remove everything from the refrigerator if you don’t want to be charged for any used items. We always get the Premium Beverage Package to make sure we don’t have to worry about any of the drinks we order.

California wines have definitely increased in price over the past few months. The speculation is that prices will continue to increase. The water shortage, gas/diesel shortage, fertilizer shortage etc… will impact costs moving forward. https://patch.com/california/los-angeles/15-more-meat-5-1-more-alcohol-ca-prices-skyrocket-again

The FCC we used to book this cruise is now back in our account BUT it states that we have to use it by December of this year! I thought we had until June 2023 to use it?! Is anyone else seeing the same thing? Typo on their end?

Everything... project Leonardo/Prima class!

13914 is closer to the Haven elevators if that makes a difference to you. I always like Starboard but it depends upon your itinerary I suppose. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/deckbydeck.php?ship=Norwegian-Prima&deck=13 -
We have still not received a cancellation email, nor has my TA. When will they remove this cruise from my NCL online Planner?

Breakaway itinerary change for July 31st and Aug 7 sailings
HBCcruiser replied to tryan70's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
We received the same email for the July 17th BA sailing as well. When do you (or anyone) suppose they will change the online Summary and offer new excursions? -
Thank you for this BA Haven review. We are on her in 40 days and are also staying in the 2bd. We will be in 16714. Can't wait!

I totally understand. Luckily we did not book flights. I am looking into other lines for Greek Isles as well. The Haven prices have skyrocketed!
-
Yes! Lift and Shift to the same category! Unfortunately, we were in the Haven 2bd suite. I am not interested in any of the other current sailings. Perhaps in a year or 2.
