  1. It could occur anytime from the time you made the bid up until 48 hours from the departure time of the cruise. At the 48 hour mark - rejections are sent out and the manifest is locked and sent to Homeland Security.
  2. When looking at the bid are you using the link to that particular bid? I've found that often if you bid for two or more room types an click the confirmation for one the others show pending and can't be changed but if you go in using the original bid for that room type you can still adjust bid and all the others show pending. I have an alert set up on my credit card for any charges over $50. When I get a charge I get a text alert that also shows up on my watch. I usually know I won an upgrade when my CC is hit even before the official email comes. If you win an upgrade and have multiple bids and they have not yet charged your account the one bid stays at pending and the others turn to expired. Not always but often that mean you won the upgrade for the one showing pending. The room is usually assigned and CC charged within 24 hours. You can be awarded an upgrade anytime from the point you bid up until 48 hours before cruise. At 48 hours the rejection email are blasted. Also at 48 hours the ships manifest is frozen and submitted to homeland security. Also at 48 hours you can no longer book or cancel anything from the website for that cruise
  3. Know Anthony. When on Silhouette in April there were 2 Anthony's - One in Retreat and one at the Retreat Bar. Curious if Anthony was wearing the sleeve due to the sun or a Tattoo. Celebrity requires tattoos on arms to be covered with a sleeve. I seem to remember him wearing one and we were on a rather chilly TA crossing.
  4. Thanks... I guess I go brain dead. I'm a big walker and part of my route is full forward around the front of Retreat and then full aft around the Lawn Club. Interesting to hear they are serving from the Mast Grill. Do they serve the Mast Grill Burgers or the Luminae burger - cooked at the Mast Grill.
  5. I know they have Fevertree on the ship but possibly for a limited audience. When in a Penthouse on Solstice they had it in our refrigerator. I had posted a picture and a number of people pointed it out. I'm not a drinker and had to look at it to see what it was. Even though Iain is a G&T kinda guy he had also never heard of it but said it was good. Most of the time we have only seen Seagram's
  6. 1. Yes 2. You still have Classic - with upgrade you keep your existing perks but get ameneties of the room lik Luminae, Retreat etc 3. In 25 years I've never had a butler even offer to unpack clothing. Butler takes care of your needs like bringing meals, snacks or other things you may wish. He also takes care of laundry, shoe shining, Ice and Water. While they serve in Retreat you can also ask him to drop off in room instead. 4. Yes 5. No - Specialty only free for Royal Suite or above. 6. If you were in a Royal or Penthouse Sushi on 5 included and is not a la carte. For SS it will be a la carte. 7. No - generally they don't bring savories they are available in Retreat but if you wish just call and ask for them in your room or do in advance. You can request shrimp or cheese if you request. 8. Tea in Retreat on Summit (Revolutionized Ships) They have a hot and cold table and you can select your own Sandwiches, Scones, sweets. There will be a server to serve your tea or drinks at your table. Some of the butlers that are on duty for Tea offer to get you the things from the hot an cold table. 9. All beds including Suites have 2 singles that are generally setup as a "King" which is actually a U.S. Queen. If you ask for them separated they will separate them at turn down first night. 10. I think they both now have Bigalow so yes the same if Aqua gets Bigalow
  7. Drink packages that are not included are booked separately under you Cruise Planner - just like an excursion.
  8. I think the Minibar official is not included in the drink package. Many of the Butler's (usually ones with seniority) will be kind to your and stock your refrigerator daily if you have a drinks package. Others that are new to the position follow the rules. I find it easiest to ask if items in the refrigerator are included in the drink package and ask if he couple stock a couple beers or mixers. They know it will probably earn them a more generous tip. If he won't just pick up a couple extra's at Retreat and stock yourself and ask him to empty your refrigerator which is probably more work them him providing the service.
  9. Of course I'm following. LOL. They immediately caught my eye even before I saw your call out. Started salivating immediately. I'm trying to loose 5 pounds before our next cruise so I can put it back on in April.
  10. Interesting in the the Closed Loop link above they also now allow Enhanced Drivers License for closed loops for Canada, Mexico and Caribbean. I didn't read fully but I also believe you can use Global Entry Identification Card.
  11. For passport and Birthcertificates. The link below will tell you everything you need to comply with. The only requirement of a birth certificate - it must be an Original Birth Certificate which is either stamped or raise stamped by the issuing agency. A hospital birth record is not acceptable. If there has been a name change or marriage you may also need a marriage certificate showing maiden name that matches birth certificate - also needs to be a government issued document and not copies. https://www.celebritycruises.com/blog/closed-loop-cruise
  12. Ok couple answers 1. Best for both of you to download Celebrity App. You an send messages through it but unusually doesn't alert you that you have a message or a very light ping. You can use this without an internet account. 2. San pellegrino is only covered under Premium or Zero Proof - Otherwise a la carte $3.50 small botttle or $5 for Large. 3. Cosmopolitan is open every night including the last night of the cruise. 4. Hours - again if you check the app shows open and closing hours of everythign on the ship Ocean View 11:30-2:30 for Lunch on Day one but will have somethings open after 2:30 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM for Dinner 9:30 PM - 1:00 am Light Night 5. Beyond has self walkoff and if you have an early morning arrival it usually starts with self walk off at 7:00 AM 4. 10:15 is possible but risky. If she chose that one would recommend walk off which should begin at 7:00 unless something causes a late arrival. I would to for the 1:15 flight.
  13. There are no current plans or scheduled for the Revolution to continue. It is expected this will not occur until RCL returns to profitability and the reduce their debt load.
  14. I agree since I will be doing a B2B in Sydney in December. We have the same room and sure wouldn't look forward to packing up everything only to have to unpack. If I recall Gerry's earlier post, they do have an unusual protocol and B2B's have to wait in terminal or tour instead of being immediately returned to the ship prior to general boarding.
  15. Interesting. Since we were not originating or departing Reykjavik I didn't know that. All I could see were the huge lines of people waiting for transportation. Once they started boarding we heard horror stories from the Retreat Host and passengers.
  16. I guess we could have done that if we used our Transit Pass and left the ship early. While we did get our SeaPass for the new cruise we couldn't use them until the Zeroed out the ship. The didn't zero out until about 10:00 and if I recall we had to be back aboard at 2:00 PM You may recall Iain is not a morning person. We originally booked a Foody Tour but with the early departure would have to cut short and grab a cab back to the port and we were hearing no cabs were available.
  17. Thanks for posting. They have a link where you are suppose to be able to create one unique for your sailing but been broken for about a year. It was pretty good when it worked. https://www.celebritycruises.com/excursion-brochure/celebrity/?error=notfound&ship=AX&currency=USD&date=2023-04-15
  18. At the B2B meetings - you will be surprised by some of the questions that will be asked. At some of the B2B meetings they have had raffles and given away free Specialty Dining, wine and laundry bags. By the way. With CC's you can change your credit card at anytime using the app even after the cruise begins.
  19. Keep in mind all the rooms can be setup as Singles or "King". Actually the bed is a "European King" measures to that of a U.S. Queen. Upper suites have actual U.S. Kings. When you arrive - don't despair as rooms are usually set up with the beds together but your room attendant will split them during turn down service.
  20. You should get 1 internet Premium Wifi Account for each passenger. Each passengers creates a unique Logon and Password and an use unlimited devices but only 1 at a time. If you log on a second you are aked if you wish to bump the other off the air. With Starlink you should get in the range of 2.5-5 mps. Not as fast as land but I regularly stream content and have done many internet calls as well as Zoom meeting. Reliability at sea is often better than in port where I sometimes have problems and shift to Fee TMobile Data Roaming.
  21. Respectfully disagree. With a Suite Guarantee you get all the perks as do other suite guests. Possibly you are thinking about being upgraded on a Bid - in that case you are correct. The only difference of a suite guarantee is you can not pick a room and one will be assigned to you prior to or at boarding.
  22. We hand an interesting B2B in Reykjavik. It was a total mess for both departing and arriving passengers as they just didn't have the infrastructure of busses and taxi's to handle the passenger load. The night before we were told that Iceland authorities considered us in-transit since we had stops before and after in Iceland. They gave us our new sea passes and asked for our old ones to scan us off the fist cruise. We got them back later. We had to change rooms but our room attendant got our room ready while we were at breakfast and and we had full access of the ship until General Boarding began. Downside it was such a mess at the port with some waiting 2 hours for cabs that we didn't even get off the ship and didn't see Reykjavik.
  23. Unfortunately no. Even when traveling in a Penthouse you have to go through it. We were given a Golden Glove treatment on a recent cruise as a Zenith and top Cruiser on the next. They had us wait in the retreat while others met in a lounge and then when ready the Documentation Officer came into Retreat and asked us to follow him and he escorted us off so would be first to clear immigration. LOL.... Then we waited in a gang area with everyone else before allowed back on the ship. It was a nice gesture
  24. If it was yours --- credits due to you. I just googled on it and foudn a copy. Couldn't find mine - too many pictures.
