  1. It seems like you are getting the regular prices. I'm not sure what you mean by a 10+ day as the current prices in the US are on a per night basis - you may be able so save some by booking on line and getting the current sale discount. Second option is to check what the additional would be for Tips, Drink Package and Internet and calculate if that would save you money I just looked at my Cruise Planner for 3 cruises coming up a 7 Night, a 15 night and 11 night Prices are the same - Premium 34.99 / day pp but on sale for 29.99 Basic 19.99 and on sale for 16.99
  2. Generally last call is at 9:00 and around 9:15 they begin processing Back to Backs - which can't be started until the ship is zeroed out.
  3. We have only sailed Edge so far. Apex will be our second e-Class. Year back when Murano was Olympic on Millennium we ate in Murano every night on a 14 night cruise. After the first night the Maitr 'd told us we would no longer give us menus and the chef would prepare something off menu each night. Even the wait staff didn't know what was coming out so had to scramble to get the correct table where. On a couple nights other guests would ask what we were having and he would say.... oh they have special dietary requirements. I think we were having Shrimp Scampi that night. One night he prepared a Raspberry Souffle for desert. It was incredible. Only downside was I put on 10 pounds ... ugh.
  4. In my experience the window placard is for RS and above. Even then they police officer wouldn't allow our Uber to go to the area. It doesn't help for entry into the port... only to get closer to the "Special Delivery Desk" where upper suites are asked to stop by and then escorted inside.
  5. I've not done it but read from others that did and they loved it.
  6. Your right - I think this is the ones being used now. On the last one I didn't post the back Also I always just wright in other items I want. e.g. Cappuccino For my upcoming cruises on Apex the currently don't have the menus posted at all even for current cruises on Apex
  7. Curious about your comments. Whenever I've booked with FBC I have been able to go onto the Airlines website and pull up the reservation using the Airlines Record Locator Number. From there I was able to choose seats, add FF numbers as well a Global Entry Number. I was also able to order meals. I could not however change names on the reservation nor make changes to the flights. I've mostly booked with United, American and Delta. I hear some airlines like Air Canada and British this is not possible unless you pay additional
  8. I wouldn't say all as I've only traveled in Suites but their is always a bar of facial / hand soap. I don't like liquid soap in the shower and usually get extra bar soap in lieu of shower gel.
  9. That's for sure. When in College I use to work at a Lobster Restaurant. I can't even guess how many lobsters I would kill daily. Lobster Rolls would always be a mixture of Claw and Tail. You could usually get 5 rolls out of a 1 1/2 pound lobster. Also loved the butter toasted buns.
  10. Your fingernails must be huge. I would guess 2-3 Tablespoons might be a more accurate.
  11. I can hardly wait to suffer like others have been reporting. I think I will intentionally take off 5 pounds before my next cruise so I can put them back on with no guilt. Can't wait for those "Terrible" lemon tarts at al Bacio.
  12. What is even crazier is that the extra amount is based on the cabin cost. This one below is for a Royal Suite. I've found that is is cheaper to get CruiseCare insurance both run at 8-9% Like you. I question why anyone would pay that much. I do recognize that I'm a frequent cruiser and could easily use a FCC where others that may be doing their first cruise or not planning another Celebrity may consider the option.
  13. Personally I find that Celebrity uses the term strenuous far to often. I would suggest reading the description and choose on your own. I find that often if the walk is over a mile they consider it strenuous. If you are comfortable walking 1-3 miles on uneven surfaces I would think you will be comfortable on any of the tours. We were on a cruise recently in Portugal and went to an island with a hike. They offered two different hikes - One to the top of the island (which was definitely invigorating) and they other took a rather flat path in the opposite direction.
  14. Of course they have fries. LOL Can you imagine a hamburger without fries.
  15. Your Gown is beautiful as usual. I may have to give Fine Cut a second try. Our last visit wasn't memorable and we really aren't big beef eaters. I just wish they had Murano on the Edge Class ships.
  16. I believer T&C are determined by Country of Residence. I know for a fact that as a U.S. Resident I have repriced many bookings I've made on board and never lost any OBC. I do know that many terms for UK, Ireland and EC have much different terms and afford certain protections that U.S. bookings don't get.
  17. To my knowledge they are not open on Embarkation day. Really a shame. I just checked the app and doesn't show open.
  18. Great. Yikes that's a lot of Protein in your drink. The also have ice tea (not as good as al Bacio in MDR, Luminae, Blu as well as Ocean View Cafe (dispenser powdered tea)
  19. Unless in a Suite - Ocean View, Sushi on 5 (al la carte), Mast Bar (Hamburgers and Hot Dogs)
  20. Agree - They do say they will get you to the ship but don't tell you that it could cost you additional. I missed a flight due to late arrival (not considered an airlines fault) The airlines put me on a wait list but could not get me to Rome on time. Called FBC and they said my ticket (pre-covid) was an AA only ticket and could not be transferred to another airline. I had to quickly book a United ticket using miles to make it on time. It is easiest to realize that FBC is nothing more than any other travel agent except have ties to Celebrity.
  21. Ahhh.. definitely understand you are referring to, something like Ensure or Boost. My daughter had lost so much weight when in the hospital she was drinking 3 of those a day. Unfortunately never seen anything even similar on a Celebrity Ship. Wonder if you could contact Special Needs - form attached https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/Celebrity-Guest-Special-Needs-Form.pdf They list Ensure as an item to request near the bottom of the form. Access Department at (866) 592-7225 (voice) or local number (954) 628-9708, fax (954) 628-9622, send an e-mail to special_needs@celebrity.com
  22. Their smoothies are actually protein drinks - at least I would consider things like these to be a protein drinks. They are all served at room temperature where I consider a smoothy to be icy. Refuel - Peanut Butter, Banana, Cocoa, Almond mil and Flax Seeds Antioxidant - Blueberry Blackberry, Strawberry, Coconut Milk, Ginger and Oat It may be my misunderstanding what a Protein Drink is, but this is the closest you will get on a Celebrity ship.
  23. It is true on Edge Class and Revolutionized M and S Class ships.
  24. I really enjoyed that private little hallway. I initially was concerned that it would be noisy since it was cut out of the Sky Lounge but it was really quiet. Our hallway was abuzz one evening when the Guest in the Reflection Suite forgot to turn on the the frosted switch in the shower hanging out the side of the ship. It wasn't pretty. LOL
  25. Never had a bad lunch in Luminae. Service can be slow in all restaurants on the first day as waiters and passengers get to know each other. I don't particularly care as I'm not doing anything except unpacking. Lobster Rolls, like other food, is subjective. It is warm water lobster, the rolls aren't like those you would get in Maine and the portion is relatively small. If not full order a second or a second entree. You will not starve for sure.
