  1. No codes, the prices just show up when you search the RC website. I've never used an online TA so not sure how their prices react to the sales.
  2. Via the app and it automatically takes off the BOGO like when you use the internet discount?
  3. Go to a restaurant once onboard and make a reservation, mentioning you would like to use your D+ BOGO. You have to make the reservation on day one or two (but it can be for later in the week from everything I've read). Also, keep in mind you each have a BOGO offer so you can eat twice if you want. We also turn D+ after our next cruise, so I haven't actually used it yet, just planning ahead. 😁
  4. Absolutely nothing wrong with your question whatsoever. I hope you enjoy the Solarium. That's the only place we go to lounge and it's really not b/c we're primarily trying to avoid kids. I just can't handle sun and find shade easy to come by in the Solarium. We don't party so while we're fine with music in the background, we don't need it. And we don't really use the pool so no reason to be by the crowded main pools. I also find the Solarium bar less hectic than the pool bars. Now that I'm typing this, besides the shade issue, I think I'm just avoiding people in general, not specifically kids, lol.
  5. Wouldn't that depend on what your order? We always order the same thing at GT... app, filet, pasta, dessert. I'd likely order the exact same thing at GK (and possibly add on a pizza to try).
  6. This. I never understood the "we shouldn't have to report it" thing. Of course in a perfect world you shouldn't have to, but at that point, I'd rather ask for a resolution than suffer through the disruption.
  7. That was my impression as we loved GT and weren't interested in GK at first glance but some recent experiences from others have made me want to try GK in the future (likely with a D+ BOGO). Like you, I saw it as a pizza joint but they still have filet and someone said the chicken parm was large and very good. I may order a pizza on the side to try, but we'll be going there for the more substantial entrees if we try it. If we don't like it, oh well. At least we're using a coupon. 🤣
  8. Used to book them all the time. You can be placed anywhere & upgrades are rare. Be aware that if booking from the US, once assigned, you can switch to any available cabin in your exact same category with a simple phone call. This was one reason we didn’t mind them, especially when ships weren’t so close to full further out. I would switch to what we considered a more desirable location nearly every time.
  9. You’re likely confusing Giovanni’s Table (original version) with Giovanni’s Kitchen (new version on Wonder & other ships). You can find all menus in the app.
  10. As a for profit business trying to recover from massive debt incurred from the covid shutdown, do you begrudge them for doing so? If their product no longer appeals to you, don't give them your business. They have the right to maximize profits and you have the right to react however you see fit.
  11. There should be a QR code in your cabin. There’s also a link buried somewhere in the app.
  12. Internet is on sale for some of my future cruises... it's an entire dollar cheaper!
  13. Poor comparison. If you were using a hotel for a 7-night vacation (like many people do) you would be there for nearly a week, like on a 7-night cruise. That was the analogy.
  14. The Solarium is 16+ on all ships & as someone who sails almost exclusively in the summer (wife is a teacher) & prefers the Solarium to the main pool for various reasons, I’ve never had a problem with underage kids in one. Just keep in mind it’s a small pool. We don’t even use the pool; just the loungers & hot tubs from time to time. There is no food venue in the Solarium on Freedom class so you don’t have to worry about that, but even on other ships I’ve never been bothered by kids walking through to get food or to the elevators.
  15. You definitely can. Aside from asking in advance, you can scan a QR code in the room and a page will come up to make common requests like more ice, more towels, more soap, etc. Someone should fulfill your request within an hour or so but it may not be your actual stateroom attendant.
  16. The value will definitely vary based on your habits and preferences. If you don't find value in them then you don't. Nothing wrong with that but I'd venture to say you're in the minority. As a Diamond member, the 4 drinks daily per person and access to the Diamond Lounge for multiple free cappuccinos every morning and snacks every night are the main perks for us. Keep in mind that the drinks don't need to be alcoholic. You can use your vouchers on mocktails, smoothies, soda, etc. My wife hardly drinks but will have 1-2 virgin daiquiris sitting by the pool and maybe a dessert drink at night. I'm not a big drinker but have no problem spreading 4-5 out throughout the day/night. We'll be D+ after our next cruise and are looking forward to the 2 extra drinks, 4 days of internet, and BOGO specialty meals.
  17. It bounces between $20.99 & $19.99 for my March Wonder cruise. Hoping to save another dollar during the BF sale. 🤣
  18. Those prices are all actually extremely low in the current climate. For reference, beach club cabanas are over $3000 for new ships during busy times & OTW can approach $4000. Beach club access can be over $250 & water park can be over $150. I don’t spend anything when sailing alone with my wife but have been in each type of beach club cabana once with extended family of 8 and loved both of them.
  19. No, you can purchase stuff in your cruise planner long before check-in. Exactly what is offered and when it is available will vary.
  20. Don't forget BOGO specialty dining. We're 7 points away from D+ and that's really the only one we're all that interested in beside the 5th drink voucher. Still very much looking forward to it though.
  21. The rest is pretty self-explanatory. It will ask for personal info, passport info which you can scan if you like (or select other form of ID if not using a passport), a photo of each person (selfie in the app or you can use an existing photo via the website), credit card for your account, etc.
