  1. That was my first thought as I posted above. Sky Suites will become the Junior Suites on Royal .
  2. I agree the food on the Summit and other Celebrity Ships has declined in not only food quality but preparation. I use to enjoy their Ribeye and Filet but now it is small and not very tender. The buffet selection has been greatly reduced, very redundant, and some of the offerings are frankly inedible…….All while pricing has increased substantially, especially for Aqua and Suites.
  3. With all the downgrades and changes Celebrity has been making over the past 2 years (service level, food quality, staff reductions, entertainment quality, bar service and cocktail availability) while increasing pricing substantially ( especially in Aqua and suites), would it surprise anyone that elimination of Butlers for Sky suites leads to reduced or elimination of access to Luminae for all meals or even the Retreat Lounge?
  4. You certainly had 3 great days of blue sky weather in Bermuda! Your pictures are awesome!
  5. Hope you had a great cruise and thanks for letting us know about the WCB on Infinity! Hope you get lucky and they have one on the Constellation for you! I’m hoping it is on the Summit by September when I sail on her. I confirmed with somebody currently onboard the Summit that it does not have one, as the Gelato is still there in the evenings.
  6. You can cruise for 7 days, with transportation and food included, for the price of 3-4 nights at that hotel. Ouch!
  7. If you make that request to your cabin steward he/she will definitely do it for you. They go out of their way to make you happy!
  8. Cape Liberty debarkation is usually pretty fast. They use face recognition for customs and getting an Uber or Taxi is not a problem. If your ship is scheduled to arrive at 7:00am you should be all set.
  9. You can pay the difference. Usually just a few dollars.
  10. Oh thanks! Wasn’t aware of that restriction in Blu, as all my sailings on E Class have been in Luminae
  11. Select Dining means you do not have assigned early dining or late dining seating and have the option of walk up dining or making a reservation for dining at the 4 main dining rooms. In my 20+ Celebrity cruises that were in Aqua class, I can tell you that Blu service and food is superior to the dining rooms. It provides a more intimate dining experience. Also, besides the Blu Menu options, you can order selections from the main dining menus. You could always experience the main dining room for lunch, as Blu does not serve lunch.
  12. Thanks! Poster heard they are going to expand World Class Bar fleet wide, as it is very popular on S Class ships and the Beyond.
  13. Welcome back onboard! On another thread, somebody mentioned that they have recently turned the Gelato station on deck 5 into the World Class Bar in the evenings on the Infinity, which is a M class sister ship to the Summit. Have you noticed if they have done this on the Summit? Thanks!
  14. Blu does not except reservations and is walk up. You will probably have no wait unless you go at the busiest time. Even then might only wait 10-15 minutes. Most popular times are 6:30-7:30. as far as the other dining rooms you can make reservations pre cruise online or at restaurants when boarding ship. Enjoy your cruise!
  15. Two70 Cafe is great alternative for lite breakfast and lunch to avoid the crowds in Windjammer buffet
  16. 👍👍👍 RI has great restaurants for sure……. Bet you don’t miss the high taxes though! Lol
  17. I have had the little individual packets of peanut butter at the Ocean View Cafe in the past, but very hit or miss. I did not see any on my last 3 cruises.
  18. Really loving all your pictures! I am living vicariously through you and am enjoying “my cruise”! Keep enjoying every minute! What perfect weather……. My son was on a cruise to Bermuda a couple of weeks ago and it rained 2 out of the 3 days they were there.
  19. That would be disappointing…… they had Zacapa rum on the Beyond in Feb/March when I was on her for 3 sailings. Hoping they still have it in September
