I believe any vessel over a certain length (I think 15 feet) should have enough life vests for the amount of passengers on board. Coast guard used to do random checks when we would be out on wave runners and friends boats.

When I go to my cruise planner, and want to buy a Deluxe Beverage Package it is said that only my wife and I can buy the package (because our girl is underage). But do I have to buy another package for her, or leave that be? She can drink with us offcourse, because in the Deluxe there are also non alcoholic beverages....At other cruise lines, the non-alcoholic package is always automatically added to the order.
Only the Deluxe package is automatically applied to those over 2. You'd have to manually purchase any other non-alcoholic packages as those are not automatic.

Does anyone know if meals and snacks are served or permitted in Adventure Ocean for the 3-4 year old age group? Last time we cruised, our daughter was 1 and we could bring her meals to the tots nursery. They would warm it up and feed her at the time we requested but I don't know what the food and meal situation would be in Adventure Ocean for toddlers/kids.
I know if they are there for dinnertime, they will provide at a certain time. For Aquanauts, Explorers, and Voyagers they'll serve lunch for them on Port days; I think other days they close at noon and reopen at 2:00pm but I don't know how they handle the nursery children.

I thought one could purchase it as long as the other purchased at a minimum the Refreshment package ??
It can't be done via cruise planner; you need to call Royal for purchasing that way.

Never seen a charge for the safe on any ship I’ve been on.
Thanks for the reply

I've always opted to never use a hotel or ship safe; just always keep everything elsewhere. But figured with passports and other items I would like to utilize the cabin safe. Is there a daily fee or charge for usage?

So im trying to purchase this on the cruise planner, it says in the description that children under 48 inches must be accompanied by an adult, our youngest is under 48 inches.
When booking it asks everyones height, when I put that she is under 48 inches it wont let me add her to the cart to pay, it is saying she doesnt meet the restriction.
Any ideas?
Just click yes that she is over 48 inches and it will let you complete the booking. I just did it to make sure it worked.

My husband has our accounts marked that they notify him if I charge something on AMEX. He has sent me a text more than once asking what I bought to make sure I was the one using it. Interesting enough, on one of his cards someone had used the number to make a purchase and he sent me a text and I told him to report it. I wasn't even on that card.
I do the same thing when my wife has my credit cards. What about submitting a credit card that you have the feature of locking/unlocking? I planned on doing this on our next sailing but wasn't sure if it'd cause an issue

My phone automatically checks for updates on all of my apps.
Mine does as well but for some reason it has never done it for the RCI App

Tonight, I completed my mobile check-in for our Allure cruise on June 30th. Both my wife and I are on the same reservation number but I did not complete her check in until tonight. I completed my check-in three weeks ago and my assigned boarding time is 11:30 AM but hers is 2:30 PM. We are both on the same reservation number so this makes no sense to me at all. Has anyone else experienced this before?
The times were different when you checked in each but you didn't realize it. Same thing happened to me but I didn't bother reprinting because as others have said, the assigned time doesn't matter. If you are still weary you can go back and change the times to match.

Thanks @soremekun! You always inform us of the updates otherwise I'd never know. Do you continually check or are you alerted another way?

I had the same issue when trying to do so from the app but as you mentioned you can do it from your computer. Click on the name of the person, scroll about half way down the page, and there should be an option to update your photo.

We will be on the Allure departing September 1.
In March I purchased the Voom Surf Voyage Package for 1 device for $11.99 a day = $83.93
I have been frequently watching the pricing for the Voom Surf Voyage Package and have not seen a lower price for this sailing.
But now I see a copy of the May 19 2019 (Day One of the cruise) Allure of the Seas Cruise Compass and it says: "Two days only. Internet packages starting at $9.99 a day."
Does anyone know if the Internet package offered on the ship for $9.99 is the Voom Surf Voyage Package for 1 device?
And is it typical for the $9.99 Internet package to be offered on board on the first and second day?
I'm thinking maybe I should cancel my current Voom package and wait until on the ship to buy it.
Hey kokopelli-az, here is the link to our Roll Call for Allure 9/1 sailing....come on over and meet the group

I agree.
If you really want to save money, check with your Roll Call and see if anyone wants to share a multi-device internet package. A 4-device plan including Surf + Stream usually ends up being about $7/day per device.I was just going to tell OP to come to our roll call. Brillohead, I took your advice and purchased the 4 device and have one left if kokopelli-az wants it

No where that I have ever seen, in many parts of the world. Specifics would help the OP, generalities don't.
Happened on Carnival last year...they were making sure you brought no alcohol back onboard

Can I bring my water bottle from home off the ship at ports?
You may have to have it empty upon reboarding

You will need to purchase something because there is no text or chat capability in the RCI app as of yet.
There is on Allure

I have a question - sailing the Harmony in August. We did the Oasis last August and got the package that included all the printed and all digital. Looking at what is available for Harmony is 20 printed, 20 digital or all digital. Do they not offer the package with all printed and all digital any more? Thanks!
Unless something changed in the past few weeks, they still offer the all -inclusive packages

Hey everyone. I tried to search on this topic but had no luck. We are staying at Springhill Suites in Dania Beach next weekend and was thinking of UBER'ing over to the port. Has anyone done that from there or close? Just worried the demand will be high and we won't get a van. Hotel is $10/pp for their shuttle but thought I'd ask about this. Thanks!
Once, when i put in a location close by, it came up to less than $20 for an UberXL

We have taken the Canada/NE cruise several times on Grandeur, Anthem, and Summit and will again in July. My son and his family live just north of Boston (our first stop), and we visit them during the day. I would like to have them come and see the ship and come aboard for about two hours. I know that if I call RCCI, I'll probably get a different answer each time.
Is it possible for guests to come aboard? I'd like for my 5-year-old granddaughter to see the ship so she can hound her parents into joining us for a cruise. Thanks in advance.
I would think this wouldn't be allowed. I'm sure there are security risk issues and clearances that would have to be done, well in advance, if it was an option.

No you just have to have both your and her cards together. I have done this without any issue.
Oh okay....if I gave the " Sorry honey, you have to get it yourself" excuse, it might have been a bumpy cruise

Won't work because the cardholder's photo shows up on the POS terminal when a crewmember swipes the card.
So let's say I have a Refreshment package and wife has DBP....I figure she's going to send me to the bar for her drinks. So does that mean she has to go get them herself?

So do you know if the 12-17 year olds are all together, or is there some separation!
To my understanding, that age is all grouped together
