Haven't decided yet, 12 night transatlantic at roughly $80 including gratuity that's $1000, we have a suite so some beverages will be free....

Checked again, and was able to get it, the last one showing, yay! Sometimes you have to try again it seems.

Also to be acknowledged, the marketing ploys they use on us to make us want to buy.....the photo spreads of all the liquor and beverages, the idea that we can try all kinds of exotic drinks and if we don't like them, we can just order something else, the constant sales and toying with the prices, the convenience of having your bar tab already paid for... Do I realistically want to consume that much liquid and alcohol?

For sure there are staffing shortages...our only options are to either go on the cruise and expect less service, or not go on the cruise. Also there are snags in the supply chain, so it's likely that food and beverage will be impacted. These are the terms we accept right now, no point in getting upset. One can argue that cruising itself is extravagant, if our money is so "hard-earned" that we demand a certain level of service for price paid, maybe consider another type of vacation. Corporations are not going to put the brakes on their capacity; it always falls on service staff to somehow get the job done. Just my unsolicited opinions....😀

Is there any difference in service depending on if you have the drink package or not? I keep going back and forth on whether to get the package. With numerous lift & shifts, we ended up in a suite, some coffee and alcohol will be complimentary.

With the skyrocketing price of diesel fuel for trucks that transport all our goods, if you don't like the prices now, soon you're really not going to like them!! 😅
