Looking forward to following along again and seeing your comparison to MSC…we are heading on the Summit next month and was looking to do a back to back at the last minute but it is chartered for a I think a nude cruise so we are thinking of doing a side by side with Virgin.. Enjoy your cruises!!!!

Interesting…I wonder how my TA was able to move it with price protection and no change fee..

If it is truly an error….than by this point you would think they could send an email at least to TA that their clients should ignore the fact that it that their cruise page says that it is canceled…the cruises also do not show up on the consumer site…the only 2 Solstice Vietnam and Thailand sail dates on the celebrity website are 1/2/25 and 3/15/25….

Yes it is sad when you have customers showing in their account that the cruise is cancelled but when you call the agents are telling you it’s not… it’s hard to know what to believe…I know it is very far out but it shouldn’t be such a difficult question to get a answer for…

That is what I had… did you speak to anyone at Celebrity yet to confirm that it has been cancelled…why is this such a difficult question to have answered…

Did you get notified of the cancellation? Is it still showing up on your cruise page? My friend keeps getting told it’s not canceled and won’t let her change the date without a penalty..

Thanks for the quick reply…especially about the hammocks…I would like to make sure I get one…I didn’t realize it was 30 days to book dining besides rockstar and super rockstar guests..not sure I will be able to get my booking done by then…hopefully there will be availability… I also need to apply to get my status match from Celebrity…I am elite there

Looking to try Virgin Voyages…we have recently primarily sailed Celebrity and before that Disney as my daughter grew up…we want to book a February 12th cruise. Will it be difficult to make dining reservations since it is so close to the sail date? Also debating if booking a suite is crucial…we are deciding between a seriously suite or XL sea terrace.

This is so confusing….my friend is trying to change to March 15th sailing and they are telling her it’s not canceled…so now we are on two separate sailings…ugh

Keep checking your cruise planner…the only way I found out was that on the home page it said the voyage was canceled…but my friend in the same sailing does not have that…at this point I don’t know what is right…

It took awhile for my TA to get someone to realize that it was canceled…he was never notified but I noticed on my cruise planner page that the voyage was canceled…which cruise were you on?

Was able to get price protection including the OBC I had from Black Friday and because it was an OBB….it took quite awhile for my TA to convince the agents that it is canceled….since it was still showing as active in some of their systems….

I’m so disappointed….just checked my cruise page to print my luggage tags for my February 6th Summit cruise and I noticed I had a canceled cruise … I had no idea what it was…to my surprise it was my Vietnam/Thailand cruise on the Solstice on 2/7/25…the crazy thing is my friend literally just decided to join us and deposited on Saturday….anyone know what is going on with this…has the Solstice been redeployed or chartered …is there another ship taking over the itinerary…I have gotten no notice from my TA or Celebrity…I know it is far out but still disappointed

They added umbrellas to the Edge retreat deck…however they were closed usually when we were at sea on our Greece itinerary this past September.

I was just looking at menus on the Ap in MDR on the Infinity…one for the current cruise and one for April which obviously has not been updated…all the changes are disappointing…in terms of appetizers they are basically all soup and salad as opposed to other items like crab cake or spring roll…the entrees have also taken a downgrade as well in terms of quantity and quality…. Up until now I have been in the retreat but with the recent price increases we have booked aqua and we’re considering sunset verandas on Edge class but these menus are a little weak….

It looks as of now there is at least no extra charge in Blu…

This is very disheartening…I stopped sailing Royal due to being nickel and dimed…I have been sailing solely in the Retreat but we have been priced out of some of our 2024 and 2025 sailings…we shall see if I will be looking at new lines to try…

I still enjoy the turn down service…and hope they don’t get rid of it…

It will be interesting to see how this plays out…I usually don’t eat dinner in the buffet but we have some long excursions coming up in Israel and Egypt on the Apex and it was going to be a good option…

I’ve had my invoice look many different ways when I’ve sailed in the retreat and I’ve always had premium drinks and WIFi…my TA has told me it depends on what promotion you are booked on…it does get very confusing…

Where does it say fare only? It looks like you have the retreat not refundable deposit…to me it looks like you have premium drinks, WIFi and tips…but I would call and ask to confirm.

This is disappointing…and I don’t even use it that often… only one of my 5 cruises show the cost…currently One on the Summit does but the other Summit does not My Apex, Solstice and Beyond do not…
