On board as well…they are saying 2200 passengers…I was quite surprised after stalking the available staterooms..there seems like there were so many empty… Still looking foreword to a great cruise ..seems we are around 75% …Lewis is back as CD as of today…we had him in March on the Edge as well and thought he was great.

  5. Op poster here…this morning I woke up and it was fixed …it says my sailing on my 9/3 Edge sailing and my activities are in my daily planner…I guess IT did something to correct it
  6. I am scheduled to sail on the 9/3 Edge sailing out of Rome. I had done the on-line check in awhile ago and downloaded my Xpress pass to my wallet but today I noticed in the Ap it says “unable to display reservations and folio” please contact Celebrity cruises for assistance with your account. It’s very strange my husband has our excursions and specialty dining in his Ap…also on my list of cruises under this reservation it doesn’t say “my sailing” on it like the other 4 cruises in my account. I spent over an hour on the phone …calling the on line check in number…got hung up on once…reset my password…deleted the Ap…nothing worked..after that the associate said she was emailing another department and they should email..still no response I don’t know if it even matters..but it’s so odd..I just don’t want any issues with my spa, excursions and specialty dining reservations once on board..I also like checking my folio while on board on my phone…
  7. So glad to hear…we are boarding the Edge on 9/3 and are using Rome Cabs for 3 different rides.

  9. I’m sailing 9/3 on the Edge to Greece so it doesn’t really impact me but even though it does say 48 hours I still think if you are sailing on a Saturday you can test anytime on Thursday, Friday and Saturday not worrying about time zones..but who knows…

  11. Has anyone called to see if one of these free offers were attached to their name even though they didn’t get an email or letter from blue chip. I’m still surprised they sent this offer to Pearl members. I really wonder how they decide who gets these offers. I recently made it to Onyx but I stopped getting blue chip emails awhile ago.
  12. I am having the same problem…we are on the 9/3 Edge cruise and still no luggage tags…after an hour wait finally got someone on the phone and they said they are putting a rush on it ..we shall see
  13. I am booked on the 12/3 Apex sailing going to San Juan, Tortola an St Kitts. I just started to discuss excursions with people we are traveling with and literally 90% of the excursions say “currently unavailable, but we’re working on it” Has anyone had this come up for their sailings. Do we think these are sold out and are trying to negotiate more spaces or is it Celebrity IT issues. The cruise is almost 4 months away I was surprised to find this message on most of the excursions.

  15. How do people pay for their rides…it’s says either in Euros (cash) or credit card when you made the reservation…has anyone had experience paying by credit card the day of or a couple of days before their transfer…trying to figure out how many Euros I need to bring with us.

  18. Print EDocs and luggage tags are still grayed out..we are 18 days away I thought they would be available by now
  19. I am scheduled to depart the Edge on 9/3…my luggage tags are still not able to print..how close to sail date has they becoming available recently?
  20. OP here, still no flights for me….as each day goes by I get more and more discouraged. DH even said we should look into a different trip for the week we are scheduled to be on the Edge. Which is so unlike him …..he is usually the person who thinks things will always work out… Sent out the email to LLP this afternoon…maybe I will get some resolution?? I guess it depends on the airline..it seems like Delta replaced people’s canceled flights( with not feasible choices) but United has just ignored the situation all together…

Thanks for all your suggestions…the situation has been frustrating…but when I was told to go to the airport without flights and contact the emergency number …that was the icing on the cake… I think I will send an email to the CEO. What is the one that people have used that has gotten a resolution?
  22. I have posted before but wondering if anyone has had any luck with FBC replacing their flights that have been canceled by the airline. I know they are a consolidator but I still need a flight and they promote such great service. I am on the 9/3 Edge cruise out of Rome. I had booked business class flights with FBC and on 6/29 I discovered that the first leg of my flight JFK to ZHR was missing. I confirmed with United that the flight had been canceled. FBC never contacted me or my TA. After being told of the cancellation I called FBC and was told it could take up to 30 days for a replacement. At the time I thought this was excessive but we are way past that benchmark. Since then I have been told it will be another 14 days since they escalated the mater to 30 days before the flight it will be taken care of. Still no flight….they say they contacted the airline and have not heard back…I asked do you ever contact them again when the flight continues to get closer? The latest response from FBC is that if you don’t have a flight on 9/1 go to the airport and call the emergency line and they can “help” you. To me that is completely unacceptable.. I would never go to an airport knowingly without a flight and have to deal with FBC …the hold times are so excessive. Anyone have a similar experience where FBC came through in the end or have a different way to contact them that helped the situation. This whole situation has put a bad taste in my mouth…we are recently Elite after cruising pretty much exclusively with Disney as my daughter grew up and became Platinum there…we were counting on Celebrity as being our new go to cruise line…but this situation has made us second guess our thoughts.

Any recent cruisers with experience with the cable car…we have a private tour booked for 9/5 (sailing on Celebrity Edge) we arrive at noon that day…I told the tour company we would meet at 1:30…now I’m thinking that is not enough time… It is supposed to be a 6 hour tour…our ship leaves at 10…so hopefully we are alright getting back to the ship…
  24. Have a wonderful cruise…we are scheduled to be on the Edge on 9/3 for Greece and Italy…
