Seems MSC is using the same game plan. For a 14 day cruise in April for 2 people for about $900 I can have free drinks and free slow internet for the 14 days
Thanks for your post. We were on Carnival Celebration in April and the pizza place on that ship had a much better setup than the Horizon. I counted 9 people working there. The lines were long but never more than 10 to 15 minute wait.
Not sure what Carnival ship you were on or when, when you mention missing the late night snacks. Nothing available on Carnival but pizza after 10pm.
I did get a chuckle reading your sentence about starving. Lol
Thanks again for your thoughts. Appreciate you taking your time while cruising.
What do you considering blazing fast?
on Carnival Celebration we had speeds up around 138 mbps. Just off MSC Meraviglia we had speeds of about 2-3 mbps.
I’d consider the speeds on Carnival blazing fast for a cruise ship.
Hoping Oasis is comparable
That’s right Morgsmom. You should have stood in line at guest services for 2 hours to get your $2.00 back so you didn’t hold up everybody else. 🤦♂️ Who does that?
Last week in port canaveral just as we got up to the scanners the system went down. They just proceeded to look at your passport and then you and we were free to go. Still no holdup
you don't need to carry your luggage anywhere. As posted go to the designated spot to pick up the luggage tags, put them on your luggage and leave them outside your door on the last night.
don't remember what deck you get on but there a quite a few of the kiosk.
Did my credit card info on the MSC website before we left so didn't need that.
Your didng room and the time is on your card when you check in. Drink package starts as soon as you board. State sales tax is extra while in port. There signs at ever bar letting you know this.
There are bars everywhere. Don't remember which one was closer.
Deck 16 is the adults only pool. It's the Horizon pool.
Somebody will come along and fill in the blanks I'm sure. ENJOY!
we were there making reservations as soon as we boarded and it wasn't too bad at that time. We went on Tuesday. It was pretty good.
Enjoy your cruise!!
Well on most cruise lines I woudn't bat an eye. Like I said, the way they messed up our last cruise with the details. Messed up our dining, excursions etc. I'm sure it'll all work out, just with a little more angst than usual.
Are you OK with having the kids (teens) on a different deck and maybe on the other end of the ship?
I'm no expert on MSC but isn't Bella a guarantee stateroom where the cruise line picks your room?
