The open question that has me intrigued is whether or not Explora will link its yet-to-be-explained loyalty program to MSC's existing program. Deep in the FAQs on the Explora website, a mention is made regarding possible linkage of some sort, but we will have to wait a bit longer. If Explora does decide to build on or link to the current system, it may be useful (at last) to those who have points way past the diamond mark.

Not a briny ol' salt like you experienced types, but it makes three of us. We see no need to look anywhere other than YC for cruises at this time. If, Heaven forfend, MSC lets Yacht Club slide and concentrates their better cruise experiences in Explora, then we'll go elsewhere.

Don't let others talk you out of tipping. If you want to tip, go right ahead and do so. YC staff graciously accept tips and you can get envelopes for tips from the YC concierge desk. If tipping is as taboo as some like to imply, MSC would be unlikely to provide tip envelopes upon request.

Or: Get dressed up, follow the butler, and stroll to dinner like you own the place. 😉
