  1. If you are walking off you could be out at 7:15 and through the terminal by 7:30. Custom is visual recognition (for US citizens with passports). Super easy. If you want to keep it more relaxed you could book for an 8am or later pickup.
  2. Tips? Do your research. Read through the boards. Most importantly, ASK specific questions that we can help you with. 🙂
  3. Yes, that is exactly how you will want to book it - one adult per cabin. Once onboard you might be able to able to get an extra key card to their cabin but not certain as I've never tried.
  4. You cannot fly with knitting needles, but you can with crochet hooks or embroidery hoops and smaller needles if you so enjoy. You will have to pack your knitting needles.
  5. No longer regularly doing it. Before (starting last September you were temp checked once a day and then contract "traced" several times a day."
  6. We got off the Divina yesterday; guests were offered to stay onboard for the 4 night (which was going t be 5 night) at very attractive prices. We were told that the 3 nighter was going to be a 2 night and crew only. I'm surprised that the guests on the Sept 29th cruise have not heard anything.
  7. Same thing happened this week on Divina... couple walked all high & mighty with butler to Le Muse on Gala Night (he was wearing shorts)... 10 minutes later we see them being walked back to YC, presumably to change.
  8. Looking at the deck plans my GUESS would be a Premium Suite Area on the Bellissima. Best bet is to call the cruiseline (or your travel agent) and find out exactly what they are offering.
  9. Different strokes for different folks. I personally loathe the vibe on Carnival, that creepy character, the cheesy contests, etc. Makes me want to gag. I'll take "nice" on MSC anyday.
  10. Yes, but keep in mind that you do not get any of the Aurea benefits. You keep the "Bella" benefits.
  11. Welcome! First of all MANY MSC reps have no clue what they are talking about, unfortunately. There is no such thing as a promotional upgrade from Aurea to YC. It is correct; you can get a "regular" balcony for the price of Oceanview. This promo has no impact on Aurea. since the Aurea benefits have been significantly reduced as of late, they might be better off with a "regular" balcony at Oceanview prices.
  12. You can have drinks in Butcher's Cut, Ocean Cay (basically MSC venues and not those contracted out like Hola!) up to the $15 price point.
  13. yes, but why deal with that when there are plenty of umbrellas? (Unless it's for medical reasons)
  14. I, for one, do not want to be in the YC restaurant with teens in ripped up baggy style clothes. The criteria of the restaurant, as others have said, is clean, neat, appropriate. Slacks on gentleman and collared shirts. No ball caps. If the teens don't want to adhere to that, great, but then go to one of the many other outlets onboard to eat dinner.
  15. @detwingsQuestion - "included" wines, or wines that you had to purchase outside of the YC allowed wines???
  16. The Divina on 18 September IS full. Varies by sailing. The YC is also full.
  17. Is it possible to have meals in your room like it is on NCL's Haven? If so can it come from any specialty restaurant or just the YC restaurant menu for the night? Been told NO before (not from specialty and not from YC restaurant -- can only arrange for if you are sick or quarantined) How far in advance would you have to inform staff if you wanted something off-menu for dinner? The DAY before Obviously I know I couldn't have lobster tail every night, I just feel like some nights I'd want something different. Is it possible to have something from a specialty restaurant brought up? NO Are energy drinks included in the beverage package that comes with the YC experience? YES Which nights are the formal nights usually held on? The first Sea Night
  18. Found an old list but this will give you an idea
  19. You can get Gluten Free by request, but not "Keto" per se.
  20. Agree with @Georgia_Peaches! However your teens might be more comfortable having breakfast/lunch outside in the pool area. For dinner they could go to the buffet (no dress code) or order room service or amazing pizza to the cabin. That might be a win-win for both you and them 🙂
  21. YC guests can get onboard whenever they want. As far as other pax, they are very lenient about embarkation times.
  22. No, you can circle around, drop off your luggage then go back and park. It's a couple of hundred yards away. Easy Peasy.
  23. Yes, for the upgrade you will be charged for 2 people. If you are 4 in a cabin, it's a bargain; if you are 1, not so much.
