  1. Not true. You can get specialty coffees and juices (but NOT gelato)
  2. Sorry, don't have a current menu but I would not say that there are any "not to be missed" treatments to be honest. You will pay 2 - 4x what you would pay at a spa on land, plus a mandatory gratuity. You will most likely get a hard sell on the products that are used in your service (which offer a large commission to whomever is selling them.) In my opinion you are better off getting that mani/pedi before you board. As far as facilities, the spa sauna/whirlpool/etc are just lovely. Not sure if you are YC or Aurea, otherwise you can buy a day pass. That's a nice way to spend an afternoon.
  3. I've wondered about this, too, as there are sailings that if booked on the Italian website are significantly cheaper when paid in Euro then we booking on the US website in USD$.....
  4. I'd rank them a 4, too. And you definitely need to order more than one as it's about 2 1/2 ounces of lobster in them! 🙂
  5. At the coffee bar within the Buffet on the Divina and Mera is a fresh squeezed OJ machine. And it is delicious, especially when used to top off a prosecco 🙂
  6. If you are first time MSC and first time Yacht Club I would suggest you stick with that experience and fully enjoy it since so much is included already.
  7. Yes, they will repeat the menu on the 2nd week, however they are more than accommodating in the YC. You can pre-order a meal the night before if you are craving something not on the menu.
  8. It all depends on what offer you are booking. Some rates include drinks/wifi and they can be very reasonable vs the room only pricing. Other sailings/bookings it is not a bargain. Generally speaking, however, the package prices for drinks/wifi to add later or separately are way more expensive that purchasing as a bundle. MSC has complicated pricing structures and promotions that change all of the time. Best advice is to get a travel agent and have them do some research for you.
  9. I've been looking at both Caribbean and Med cruises - cannot find one with more than $200 in OBC. Has anyone found a ship/sailing with the "up to $500?"
  10. Not true. The Chateau Neuf du Pape is $15.50... a major tick me off to this cruiser 🙂
  11. Um, check your credit card but since you didn't give them any credit card info there'd be nothing to check. At this point you do NOT have a reservation. There may have been a courtesy hold for up to 7 days but at this point that would have rolled off.
  12. Yes, the spa is open while at Ocean Cay.
  13. If you are 2 or more people the price will be about the same for an Uber/Lyft
  14. Totally depends on ship, sailing and the previous passenger load. Sometimes cabins are ready at noon, other times 1:30 or 2:00.
  15. This is SO TRUE. Unfortunately even the Easy Plus wines don't do it for us so we upgrade to get the Oberon/Conundrum, etc. It used to include Chateau Neuf du Pape but then the cruiseline raised the price per glass to $15.50, just $.50 over the magical threshold... Go figure.
  16. By any chance did you book through their Italian website?
  17. Are there elevators within the YC complex? YES And again without labels it's hard to tell, but are there restrooms in the common spaces of the complex, such as the sun deck? I really can't remember; our stateroom was so close and we are not fans of public restrooms Lastly, (for now! LOL!) we were looking at the YC Royal suite. It appears that there are very tall windows on the front balcony by the table and hot tub. Do these stop and leave a gap for air circulation - THEY CANNOT be opened. Imagine the cross breeze that would cause. You can open the door to the balcony though.
  18. Unless the fake guest #5 "had covid" and didn't make it to the port...
  19. Your boarding time can, and will, change at least four times before you actually board. It'll come via email and text. I say ignore all of them and go when it suits you.
  20. Yes, you can try the US based phone numbers but keep trying until you get someone who *seems* competent as so many (unfortunately) are not.
  21. They will not be allowed to join you in the YC. You can arrange to dine with them in the MDR, but what a hassle.
  22. Did you book directly or through a Travel Agent? If the latter, call them. If not, then you are going to have to call the dreaded customer dis-service reps. If you can't find someone helpful then say thanks and dial back until you can find someone who can help.
  23. You can dine in the buffet with shorts even at dinner.
  24. They might not have if you were on a 3/4 night cruise . We have had them on our 7 night cruises post Covid.
