My flight from Toronto was delayed 2 hours this past April. As flights from Toronto are late evening flights, any issues during the day causes flight delays at night.

Some children can sit for 90 mins and be quiet and some can't. As this is an additional charge restaurant just be aware that those around you won't want to pay for the dinner show if they can't be quiet. This applies to children of all ages not just those that are 2. Actually may be better than some that are 5 - 10.

Right now there is a flash discount on Le Petit Chef - 20%, Eden is always at 5%. Eden tasting menu is at 20% but don't see the need for the tasting menu. Does not include wine pairing and I already have the premium drink package.

Last flash sale my cruise for 2025 had no discount this flash sale that runs till June 10th has 20% off. Tempted to book but don’t like the menu that has the seasons and don’t know what menu will be available when I book. I guess I could try to change the day when I get on board or cancel for a refund. Eden has 5% off but eden tasting menu 20% off making it only about 20 dollars more than regular menu. Still expensive and don’t see the point of the tasting menu. Wish regular menu was on sale.

Was worried as had cancelled a dining reservation that I had the night before. Thought 'oh no they cancelled my cruise'. When I did get back in my shore excursion was back in my cart and was able to check out.

Never mind - it is now showing. They must be busy - on hold forever and then call dropped

Was logged in last night and added reservations for the main dining rooms. Logged in today to look at excursions and looks like there is a flash sale. Added one to my cart but when I went to check out it said something went wrong. Tried again and said - already booked. Tried again and nothing would come up for excursions, figured - stupid website. Tried now and my cruise is gone. Went in to link and wouldn't work, went in again and said already linked. Still showing no future cruises. On hold with celebrity - hopefully just website issues

No was on Princess, responding to the post that started with - Our experience with Princess in Southampton was not very good

Loved boarding in Southampton last month, was the easiest ever. Arrived around 10:30 and walked right on. Went straight to Alfredo's for lunch and eating by 11:30. It helped that I had the medallions shipped to me so didn't have to wait in any lines.

I brought ducks dressed as sharks on the sky. I put 3 on the window ledge behind 3 kids that were acting up at dinner. Parents smiled as they kept them busy……. for 5 mins. Placed some by future cruise desk, plants, two shop workers raced to get one so I added another. They are fun within reason. Bring about 15 not 150.

Mine is in May 2025 and this is the first time I had a flash sale attached to my sailing. Before it was either 5 or 10%.

Noticed a Flash sale today, would save about 125.00 in total as there are three of us. Do I have to call Celebrity to cancel, don't see a way to do it online. Also how long do Flash sales last - only one day? Going to work but may have to try this when I get home tonight.

Is there a time limit between drinks. In the evening on Princess I would get a double scotch. Guess I will order a single followed by another single

Want to buy tickets on my own, worst case will be an excursion through the cruise line. The train is a must do. Cancelled an Alaskan cruise when there were issues with the Skagway train.

Stayed at the park plaza Westminster last month. Great location.

I’m on the May 10th cruise. Hubby had to have Flam for the train.

Found the buffet very limited on the sky. Not blaming the staff but they seemed over worked. Many stations had no one there - maybe that is were the omelettes or eggs cooked to order would have been. Told to come back in 15 mins if I wanted pancakes so I took a waffle but had to ask for it. We weren’t there first thing or at closing. I did find things to eat …. Just not great not bad just meh…. Bright side bar drinks much more choice on Princess so was happy.

That is great to know, I checked those rooms and the location would be perfect for me. A few cabins up would be good until I hit the pool area and a couple down as the Kid's Cafe won't be as noisy as the Garden Cafe. Even the other side of the ship in that location the top of the Splash Academy but way before hitting the Arcade and Teen Club. I searched this forum for what the white space was across from the Garden Cafe and said it was the Kitchen Galley. No mention of anyone staying in any of those rooms.

Well found out that the blank space between the Teen Club and La Cucina on deck 12 is the buffet's galley - so again not a great place to be below on deck 11.

Too bad Club Balcony Suites are only on deck 11. Can't do forward rooms due to the motion, I do better mid but that won't work as pools are on deck 12 mid ship. Only choice is to go further back maybe past where the teen club is and opposite side of the garden cafe. Although the cruise I am looking at is Boston to Bermuda two sea days and docked in Bermuda so might be able to do forward.

Looking a several cruises on the Jewel, one on the Gem - seem to be the same layout. There are three adults in one room so looking at the Club Balcony Suite. Worried that all are on deck 11. Deck 12 has the pools, Garden Cafe, Youth center, Teen Club. How is the noise? Not thrilled to be under a teen club that goes till up to 1:00 am, or under the Garden Cafe that would open early in the morning. Pools - hear they start setting up deck chairs early. I like mid ship but that has all that on deck 12. Further back seems to be more open on opposite side of Garden Cafe. Upgrading to a suite is more than we can budget and like the room that the Club Balcony Suite would have for 3 adults. Comments on the noise?

We purchased a 3 day London pass but you really have to plan your day to make it worth it. At Tower of London we were able to join the line for those with tickets. Never had a problem using the pass. Returning next year for another cruise from Southampton. May just buy a 4 item pass vs day passes as want to go to the British museum this year and not have such a packed itinerary. But back to the borough market for lunch - sausage rolls from the ginger pig are calling me back.

Have a really good idea of where you are walking. Using google maps still confusing when it would tell me to turn left but that was just to cross the street - not turn left onto the street. I printed google maps at home as a backup. We stayed at the Park Plaza Westminster bridge and used the Westminster tube station alot. We landed and luckily they had a room for us - if not they would have held the luggage. Walked to Westminster Abby and did that, walked to Buckingham palace and saw the outside and did the Queen's Gallery, walked to Picadilly circus and then back to the hotel - 22,000 steps on no sleep. Next day - tube to Tower of London, Tower Bridge engine room, London Bridge Experience, lunch at borough market. Walked to White Chapel area for early dinner at a pub and did a Jack the Ripper Tour. Next day - tube to Kensington Palace, tube to Westminster and on the Thames river cruise, lunch/early dinner at a pub, up the shard and back to the hotel. Next day - train to Southampton - walked around had dinner at White Star Tavern. Next day on the ship and was glad the next day was a Sea Day to relax
