  1. Is the app needed? Nope. Useful - probably as others said to check the menus. Anything else I can use the daily program. Carrying my phone around all day? Nope except occasionally to snap a picture or two.
  2. You purchased the Elevate amenity package and have a non refundable deposit.
  3. There are several threads that discuss exactly this. Yes.. Friends said out of Amsterdam for example. The only issue is some countries do not accept a COR so you willneed to check the current COR rules for each country/port your cruise will visit . Also remember those rules change often. Several on our upcoming cruise will be using one.
  4. Log out. Give it another try in 2days. If not successful putit away. Get out confirmation, covid cards, passports and arrive at the pier. Know some say not allowed. It messes up the system but you can check your bags and check in for your cruise. On our upcoming cruise all good on the first try including printing boarding passes. . . Then started getting emails and texts again verifying we are vaccinated. Complete it each time with just a few clicks. And now my DH and I are now a group of 14!
  5. ArriveCAN has nothing to do with Celebrity except to monitor every passenger has completed it before boarding. Makes no difference if Canadian or Greek. Everyone.
  6. Anytime dining is likely to be booked. Just put a plan together after you board for when and where you would prefer to dine. Using your itinerary and port schedule it should be easier. Relax. It will be clear once you board.
  7. The problem today is does anyone think airline schedules in spring of 2023 for example stay the same as today? Need to be careful. I assumed a first class fare would be refundable - nope. In the fine print with my AA booking - no change fee but not refundable. The other issue we experienced was with Princess Air - a similar consolidator- wherever did not need to pay till final payment, but when we cancelled were billed for a $200 change fee. Caution and try to understand the fine print. The rules are more complicated than ever and agents for FBC or the airlines cannot get it always right. Last comment. While you have 24 hours to cancel a new booking, change an existing booking and it is done. Cannot undo!
  8. In the future. Cunard and Virgin are still subject to local and country testing rules. Many countries including Canada and some in the Caribbean require testing. Thus any cruise that ports in those countries must test. Will be interesting to see if Cunard or Virgin have problems. Again since real numbers have not been released since December; will we really know?
  9. Try wrinkle guard spray. Works pretty well. Hang in shower and steam it up first.
  10. Guessing since Zenith doesn't give access the answer is still no.
  11. You will get better answers on the Ports Forum for Vancouver. Your shore excursion will have the best description.
  12. Most things transferred to my phone app. I found it easier to use the app for uploading pictures are my phone automatically formatted them. My DH opted out of cookies so no tracking except of the data entered into the app or website.
  13. Interesting. Celebrity policies are often not well enforced. Reading what it literally says and the reality of what happens are often very different. The written policy is clear - if one does not have a beverage package then a corkage fee is charged. Not unusual to have a corkage fee bringing wine on board. For example at least in 2018 Princess charged one. There is no mention of where the wine is consumed. I don't really care what actually happens when bringing wine on board and obviously in the past many cruisers did not care either as lots of liquor and illegal drugs have been brought on board. Some masked as wine. Sad this forum has gotten so abrasive. Just signed up as have enjoyed reading about cruising here in the past. Felt one post was ok.
