  1. Does anyone know how to view the store that shows wifi, drink package, and excursion pricing before actually booking? I saw a thread on this here awhile ago, but can't find it again.
  2. This mirrors the experience I had on the Solstice in AQ back in January.
  3. Check your credit card to see if there is a pending charge from Celebrity. Typically once your moveup bid is "frozen" they charge your card pretty soon after. This typically means the bid was accepted. The first/last time I did this the bid was frozen and I had an email with my new cabin within 48 hours or so.
  4. We cruised on the Solstice from Jan 14 to 21 and when we got back we compared Uber and Lyft rates. Uber was the cheapest and it was $32. No idea about taxis though.
  5. Was on the solstice last week and dined in Blu almost every night. Service and food were fantastic. Ordered off the MDR menu a few times with no issues.
  6. If you get upgraded to aquaclass you also get the welcome bottle of sparkling wine and the daily treats. I was just on solstice where we got a move up from interior to aqua. Those are considered amenities for that category and are included. You just don't get the perks, wifi, drink package, or tips that the higher categories include.
  7. Which amenities do you speak of? If you get the upgrade to aqua class then you get blu. But you don't automatically get the perks like the drink package.
  8. I was on the Solstice from Jan 14 to 21 and got the premium upgrade voucher for the $9.99. When we got on the ship we simply had to connect to wifi and the premium package was selected.
  9. The last Solstice sailing was 700 something passengers. The Jan 14-21 sailing.
  10. I also bought the $9.99 voucher that supposedly is good for the entire cruise. Boarding on Saturday so I guess I'll find out then.
  11. I booked an interior room and bid $235 per person to get moved up to AquaClass for a seven day cruise. My upgrade wasn't too the greatest room, but I did a fake booking to see what other AquaClass rooms were available and had them switch me to one of those rooms. Works nicely if done correctly.
  12. You can click into the modify menu, play with the slider, and as long as you never "save" that there's nothing to mess up.
  13. You have to select your pending offer and click the change offer button. Then move the slider around to see if it can go lower.
  14. Bidding minimums changed to $225 pp for AquaClass. I switched to $235 a couple of weeks ago and today that offer was accepted. Got stateroom #1623.
  15. This. And then subtract one because of the room # thing at the top of the screen.

  17. Nope, you don't get the drink package, wifi, or tips included part of AQ. Everything else is though, so you'll get Blu and Persian Garden.
  18. Using this PDF (https://www.celebritycorporatekit.com/content/uploads/2017/07/Solstice_Fact_Sheet-1.pdf) to determine how many of each room category are available and then some CTRL+F logic on the list view of each deck for each category to tally what was available. (https://www.celebritycruises.com/booking-cruise/selectRoom/stateroomCategory?pID=SL07X041&sDT=2023-01-14&sCD=SL&sCT=CO&roomQuantity=1). Took maybe ten minutes or so to tally up.
  19. I'll be interested to see how this turns out. It was worth the $10 pp to find out.
  20. Do we know if Solstice will be getting the starlink internet upgrade anytime soon? Last I saw that it was scheduled for January 2 or 3, 2023.

  22. It's interesting though that the minimum is set that high with this level of availbility 49 days from departure: Quantity Room Type 11/25/2022 Available 2 Penthouse 2 8 Royal 5 12 Celebrity 5 44 Sky 29 149 AQ 100 254 Concierge 116 24 Sunset Veranda 15 719 Veranda 329 70 Ocean View 45 140 Inside 125
  23. We're booked for the Solstice on January 14th, 2023 in an interior room. I did a few mock bookings and see that there is a significant amount of veranda and AQ rooms available. Today I checked into my MoveUp offers and see that they want $300 PP minimum bid to go into AQ. Is there any chance that these MoveUp minimum bids will go lower as we get closer to departure?
