I'm with you personally, but if MSC's position is "take it up with insurance" they are - in essence - encouraging people with Covid to still board their ships.
Yes I checked the website already. It's a bunch of out-of-date information that doesn't provide a clear answer.
Does anyone know what the current policy/procedures are? I assume they don't just say "Take some Nyquil and come aboard anyway!" Or do they?
I'm looking forward to it! Until a few weeks ago there were insanely cheap rates for YC on the Meraviglia, even for a solo. Easily 1/3 of what the Have would be on NCL. MSC got wise to that and jacked up the prices, so this will probably be my first and only YC experience.
I've seen some recent reviews where people said repeated requests for loungers on YC balconies (standard size balconies, not the larger suites) were ignored or refused.
Any recent updates on this specific topic?
Yep - NCL's decision (WE KNOW YOU READ HERE, NCL HOME OFFICE), resulted in me taking 2 cruises with Royal and MSC this month that I'd otherwise happily have taken with them. Royal and MSC thank you for helping their business, Norwegian.
Good rates, but I made a promise early in my cruising career that I would never defile myself by setting foot on a Carnival ship, and our lives are only as dignified as the standards we set for ourselves.
I assume this is part of an effort to burn off all the remaining FCC's from the shutdown, but at these prices I'm not going anywhere near NCL anytime soon.
MSC's in NYC now and you can literally do Yacht Club for what NCL is charging for regular cabins.
That's absolutely unacceptable you weren't provided a lounger, and that your butler wouldn't remove unwanted items from your fridge. I'd have withheld a tip entirely on the basis of that alone.
This is the MDR. It's going to be basic mac n' cheese with a few tiny little globules of lobster. Blindfolded you'd probably not even know it's in there.
There is absolutely nothing on the menus or in the dining package T&C's that restricts the number of entres you can order, or the number of restaurants you can dine in an evening.
