  1. You can have dinner at every single specialty restaurant in one night if you want to.
  2. I guess if the services are equivalent it doesn't matter. Otherwise that would seem kinda cheap...they don't give you the low-end drink package.
  3. I'd think that would mean the browse + stream option, but I've seen some posts confusingly claiming that's not the case. Any recent YC pax have any details on this?
  4. Yeah you know the horrors of war....paying for a luxury cruise suite...same thing. What a weird comparison.
  5. What are you, the freakin' board bouncer? Their comments were perfectly germane to the conversation.
  6. Look up the median income statistics in this country, or the number of people living paycheck to paycheck, or the number of people who don't have enough savings to deal with an unexpected $1k expense. I stand by my statement.
  7. Just for the record, everyone posting in this thread is rich.
  8. Some rich people don't have the same psychological hangups about spending their money that you do.
  9. They had some CRAZY low rates for the Meraviglia out of NYC in April and May, but about a week ago there was a substantial price jump, at least for solo passengers.
  10. Outside of Yacht Club MSC still aint ready for prime time re: the American market. The food, service and entertainment are all many notches below NCL and Royal.
  11. Good call about the Smith and 9th escalators. Getting luggage down them when they're running would be tough enough.
  12. That used to be a staple route for them...they'd run it week in and week out. Probably 90% of the cruises I've taken were with NCL on that route. Seems weird that they're entirely ceding that market to Royal and now MSC. I don't see any NYC Bahamas cruises coming up anywhere in NCL's future cruises.
  13. There is no "different" complimentary restaurant. The fact MDR is a "3-course" restaurant is irrelevant. I'm not asking for some kind of customized serving order...just bringing out more than one appetizer or entre at a time if a passenger wants to eat them both at once...a perfectly reasonable request that was not problematic at all until very recently.
  14. I'm not asking them to do any special plating. This has nothing to do with substitutions or anything like that. I just don't want my meal needlessly extended by only being permitted to have one entre at a time delivered to the table. Read my first post.
  15. Or it's what has been reported on multiple sailings by multiple passengers in multiple reviews. There's no "click bait" here Jeffrey...it's not like I have paid advertisers in this thread or something. If you LoyalRoyals don't want to acknowledge the change fine, but kindly stay out of my thread about it.
  16. Good. Teaches children they have to work for things on their own.
  17. That's absolutely bonkers. That's one of the few instances when a credit card dispute would be in order. What type of excuse/runaround did they give you before you got a lawyer involved? I'm booked in the YC in May, but now you've got me worried.
  18. I highly encourage you to take the time to read the all caps letter all the way through to the end. Wow.
  19. I'm reacting to the myriad reviews from recent cruisers who have all independently verified that exact fact...or do you think these very specific mentions of MDR policy changes are the result of some kind of mass psychosis being experienced by passengers on multiple Royal ships, all of which began manifesting at the exact same time? Or maybe Royal made some changes to MDR service.
  20. Who cares about "ordering" at the same time. My point for anyone not being willfully obtuse applied to them being served at the same time, as has always been permitted in the past.
