  2. The point I think most people are missing here is that the majority of pax on any mass market cruise ship are 1st time cruisers. Don't let those chocolate strawberries and free waterboxes fool you, NCL doesn't give a frickin' free at sea about you compared to that new millennial couple with the young kids who don't even know this little microcommunity of cruise ship power users exists, and who have no standards against which to judge the service cuts.

  5. Sadly the phenomenon that makes humans turn into hoarding lying cretins once they're on a cruise ship would mean they'd be stolen immediately, unless they provided a manned station like they do wit pool towels with a check-out process.

  7. I'm always as courteous and respectful as possible with the room stewards, but I'd have told them to get the heck out of my room and deal with the bunk for the next when my cruise was over. That's absurd.
  8. I don't know how they did it. Delta and AA absolutely would not budge.
  9. I have Cancel for Any Reason insurance and just had to cancel two flights related to a cruise. The airlines said the tickers are nonrefundable, but that they automatically have to issue a credit for a future flight upon cancelation. Would that preclude me from getting my 75% back under a Cancel For Any Reason claim? Has anyone ever successfully declined a future credit when cancelling a flight? Thanks for any information you all can provide.
  10. Dude please drop the "tough guy act." Stop pretending you're going to beat someone up on a cruise. If you do, it's the end of YOUR CRUISE. You and your family will be off the ship faster than you can see "free at sea" - and you'll get your very special private behind-the-scenes tour of the security section of the ship. Leave the bravado at home. All you're going to do is complain to Guest Services.

  14. You can use the minutes on any device you want, but you only get one set of login credentials and they can only be used on one device at a time.

  17. I'd love to hear some of the comments the officers make to each other about these dinners. I'm sure it's just their absolute favorite thing to do 🙂 Me? I can do without an awkward evening of small talk with the spa manager.
