In the MDR can you only order the wine on the MDR menu? I saw a MDR menu example today and was surprised to see it only had a few wines on it.

I was offered like $100 for a 1 night Seattle-Vancouver. Does this mean I’m one step closer to HAL Baller Status?!! 🤣

True story! If you spend a little time on r/passports you’ll see current experiences and a few horror stories. A decent amount of it seems to depend on which processing center your PP gets sent to (there are a lot of them and you can google how to tell which number is yours). And don’t depend on the time frame to be accurate because if your PP doesn’t show up it’s harder getting hold of the National PP agency than it was your state’s unemployment agency over Covid.

The multiple times comment means it had to have resolved multiple times as well so this is not a “I had no toilet for the cruise” situation but more of a “I had to call maintenance multiple times” situation…

Can you buy the water package delivered to the room after boarding? We’re pretty picky about water but have read good things about HAL’s water. I’d like to try it and only order the package if we don’t like it.

Any experience with T26? We're arriving on HAL and some googling says HAL usually uses T26. I have GE but I'm traveling with adult family who do not. Wondering if I should stick with them or go looking for the GE line & meet them later?

I was able to use gift cards to pay for HIA when I added it to a casino booking by calling in earlier this year. I had already paid for the cruise portion a couple weeks prior.

We want to learn on our late fall New England to FL cruise but I’m concerned about weather. Is the court outdoors on all ships? Looks like it from photos but I don’t want to screw up and find myself wearing the wrong clothing. Do they do lessons if it’s cold outside? Does wind from weather or sailing affect this?

Glad CLIA clarified that for me. It’s just some issues, nbd. They failed this time but they have all passed all the tests before so they will “analyze” the situation. Phew! I feel so much safer!

Hahahaha. On the bright side us solo travelers will only have to worry about squeezing ourselves in a boat. On the downside nobody will be there advocating for us or screaming for us or offering an arm to haul us in… All in all I concur. Best not to find out!

When we called there were 2 options on the phone tree that I thought might work. One option ended in not eligible but then I picked the other option on the next call and they got it added. Have you already tried that? Sorry I don’t recall what they were, just that they must have routed to different departments.

The website is a piece of junk and loves to tell people they aren’t eligible. Many people have to call.

I have a $0 + taxes & fees inside cabin casino offer, did not upgrade and was able to add on HIA for $50 by calling. It’s the base HIA I think, crew gratuity not included and the low level drinks and internet. I was able to add it by calling. Internet said not eligible, I felt their were 2 phone tree selections that might work, 1st one the person said not eligible, 2nd time through I did the other and they got it added no issues a few months back.

Ah. So no medical, no cancel anytime. Makes for nice basic insurance but definitely needs to be supplemented for the medical at least.

What sort of medical coverage does that provide?
